Thank you for your tutorial videos. Can you tell me the following: what sprayer you use, brand of paints, and air compressor, please. 🙏🏻
@@Vincent-396 Thanks for watching! I use an Iwata Neo CN airbrush, a Mastercraft compressor, and as for paints - they're all acrylic from Citadel, Vallejo, Tamiya, Model Master and Mission Models.
@ thank you for the information. I will research them. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy customizing old, beat-up joe vehicles to give them new life.
I want to see you paint a Killer Whale in the original green Dreadnok colors
@@khalijee79 oh that would be cool! Thanks for watching!
@talkinghandscustoms2409 absolutely. I am thinking about doing that color scheme, but I want to see what it would look like. What program do you use to color it before you paint it? I believe in the Dreadnok Moccasin paint video you said it could be done and at times you visualize it in your mind as well.
@khalijee79 i just use Paint to keep it simple
Love the video and tips. Thank you very much!!! Subscribed! :)
@@alexalexandre1574 welcome aboard! There's lots to see and more to come!
Thanks for that. Fascinating stuff.
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Interesting video a lot of great ideas! Thanks for sharing 👊😁
I highly recommend that museum - it's mind blowing!
Hi! I recommend “super lube” (multipurpose synthetic synthetic grease) for joints and parts that rub against each other. Just apply a thin layer with a q-tip after final clear coat. It helps prevent paint loss. Hope that helps!
@@djfriction20 awesome thanks for the tip!
Do you have any social handles on IG or FB to share pics, tips and tricks of customs, etc.?
Thanks for watching! So far I only post here - but I might expand in the future 😊
So funny I did an OG Mocc in Dreadnok color way (before watching your video) but went for the purple instead of the deep blue and also used the swampfire decal on the hull. Great minds!
@@djfriction20 I love it!!
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 Do you have any social handles on IG or FB? maybe a place where people share pics of customs?
5th birthday!
Your ingenuity and skill is inspiring. Keep making these. Lots of great customs and ideas to borrow from. Thanks!
Thanks! I'm glad you like the video - there's more to come!
Great to see you back man!!!! I have a weird sense of humor and say odd things at times because it make me feel a sense of freedom in an otherwise stringent world. I mean no harm. But I totally love your stuff brother!!! I'm in Mississauga Ont. I think you're not far. It be cool to talk sometime about JOE customs.😎
@@raymondsheffield5366 good to be back and thanks for watching!
Hey these videos are so helpful I just started my Lightyear XL-15 for GI Joe Classified. If I post it I will definitely shout you. Gotta do a tiger force next!!!!
@@kylejackson7181 oh that sounds cool!!!! Thanks for watching!
I used to think Tiger Force was lame when they first came out. But I'm older and wiser now. 🐯 Though I'm still not sure about Python Patrol.. 😞
@@drewlovelyhell4892 for me, Tiger Force was the only way to get older joe stuff - and I have an upcoming episode that may change your mind about Python Patrol. Thanks for watching!
Look into the giggles jeep. Its a vamp mold produced in india. They have red and blue vamp variants
@@inmjoh will do and thanks for watching!
Just found your channel and subbed. Awesome stuff Sir

Glad to see the customs coming back. Love tiger force too. I got a marvel cap 4x4 im thinking of making into a tiger sting mk 4.
@@michaelsexton170 oh that would look sweeeeeeeet!
Great job! I chromed out a Joe silver mirage. I posted a vid if you’re interested!
@@woodman29 i'd love to see it!
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 great let me know what ya think!👊😁
Fantastic Work. What paint did you use on the missiles
Thanks! I used Tamiya Flat Red on yhe missiles and hubcaps, clear coated with Vallejo Satin Clear
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 Thanks
Like the overview of the Jeeps! Notice after all these years, the axles STILL squeak just like they did back in the 80's. lol I remember that sound like it was yesterday.
@@MRaadesign I love the squeak! Thanks for watching!
Yes I gotta ask , do you sell any of or can you make them to sell. I would love to be a customer of yours
@@BeardedG.i.JoeAdmiral71 I'm working on that - stay tuned and thanks for watching!
All I can say is Wow your variants are amazing. I wish I could do that type of paint. Love your collection
@@BeardedG.i.JoeAdmiral71 thanks! And you can absolutely do the same thing
Thanks for spelling out the possibilities and pitfalls with working with the jeeps! Been wanting to do something with one for awhile now. I'm excited to see how the Tiger Force Stinger turns out!
@@0Aberration and thank you for watching! Time to get crackin' on your custom!!!
Great to see yo back brother. I'm in Mississauga.
Thanks! Oh! I'm from there originally!
I have to ask any of these for sale:)
Some will be - thanks for watching!
That's impressive! I love all of the variants, lots of great ideas!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
I like watching your videos but the background music needs to be a little lower in volume to your voice. At points it's hard to hear what you are saying in some videos.
@@JDK69ER thanks for watching, and the feedback! Working on it! 😁
I MISS you videos!!! I hope you are alright. So many CANADIAN JOETUBERS keep quitting. Please don't quit brother.
Hey! Just having major tech difficulties - More episodes are coming! Thanks for checking in!
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 Hope you're ok and back soon.
Just discovered your channel, your presentation and advice definitely make me want to try some customs! Random question, can you spray clear coat over the stickers to seal them in, or is that a bad idea?
That's awesome! Thanks for watching! You should NEVER clearcoat over stickers - it's not the same as decals on a model. Stickers are tough enough as they are, and any clearcoat would fog up the clear backing of the sticker. Hope that helps!
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 Thanks for setting me straight, appreciate it!
Not yet! Do you have a question about it?
What product do you use to remove the olds stickers ? I have an X-16 Ghostriker and the stickers are very hard to remove.
Hi! I pull the sticker off by hand, sometimes with the careful use of an x-acto knife, and remove any residue using goo gone, followed by dish soap to clean away the goo gone. Thanks for watching!
@@talkinghandscustoms2409Many thanks ! 😃 Have you ever customized an X-16 ?
I love this idea bro beautiful work
Thanks!
Awesome custom mate love the colours combo bro 😎
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
I used the black, gold, and red for the Iron Grenadiers .
That would look sick!
Great job! Can I ask what thinner you used with the chrome?
Thanks! I used 99% Isopropyl Alcohol
@@talkinghandscustoms2409 ok thanks again
Fantastic turrets!
You can find them on etsy!
That's great!
Thanks!
Great video, very interesting. I do a bit of 1/18 vehicle customization, notably airplanes, and at the moment a Chap Mei AV-8B Harrier. What brands of paint do you use ?
Thanks for watching! I use a few different brands - mostly vallejo and model master acryl out of the airbrush, and for spray cans I use mostly krylon products and automotive primers. For anything handbrushed it's vallejo and citadel.
@@talkinghandscustoms2409Thanks !!!
Do you ever sell any of the customs that you make cause I'm totally interested.
Thanks, and yes I'll have to soon to make more room!
What an awesome custom design!
Thanks!
this armour is pretty neat
Thanks!
never tried it, hope it works :V
It's waaaaay more fun that way
Did you get repro decals from Toyhax?
I had the Sky Patrol Version. I had always wanted the original, but never could get it. I didn't care for the chrome, but it was fine. The 2014 50th Anniversary version looks much more durable than the original.
The modern version is definitely much more durable - and will be featured in a future episode!
Turn the music volume down please.
Thanks for the feedback!
Was a struggle but turned out great. Well worth the effort. I agree, that teal color is tough one to conquer.
Thanks! I'll definitely be doing this scheme on other vehicles!
Very Nice, please do the Stellar Stilleto and the Badger
Thanks for watching!
That turned out awesome!
Thanks! It was the most troublesome and clumsy custom I've ever done!
