Should you buy a mustang GT for a daily???

Should you buy a mustang GT for a daily???
What trans controller?
I bought a 2005 N altima v6 and it was fine but then i heard a clunk and then it started jerking, running fine , turning off, slow take offs, and then just stucknin gears. No reverse or D, turned it off for a couple days and now it shifts but as soon as i put in D it turn off. Reverse rough idles. Codes u1001 and p0744. Anyone got some ideas? Plz and thanks. Ive no money for another car.
Well damn dude, you lucked out!
Let me get it
Good job man, I understand why you got emotional, i would too
Electric hellcats🤢
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen, congrats brother!
Amigo mi Nissan Altima 3.5 2006 falla de era a 4ta y ahora sucede que pierde potencia al conducir pormas deMedia Hora. Y a veces le cuesta subir la rampa del garage. Ayudame con tu sugerencia por favor
I’ve been exclusively running 87 octane in mine since February of this year and I don’t see any difference in miles per gallon I drive exactly same route every day every week I get four days of driving to work and home which is an hour from home on a full tank of either octane 87 or 93 It does not run as fast though
I love the Maxima but it takes 93 im not gonna ever buy one Accord takes 87
Is the 2005 Nissan Altima a CVT transmission?
No. All CVT Nissan transmissions have issues. All time greatest failure for them
Great work man looks great!
Thanks for video! I replaced the solenoids in mine and that took care of not only the shift flare but also a harsh 1 -2 upshift. I was sure to give you a shout out in my video. Thanks again!
Do you have a video or any info on tightening the brake band. Haven’t been able to find any info on it
Mines only shift when i drive slower in the highway but it wont shift when i trying to speed up in 1st and 2 gear
Just run 89…..
Did you ever install it?
Yep. When I had it installed by itself, it didn't have any pipe extensions to the rear so it drone, popped, and banged a lot. Not really a good representation of it. The system has two straight through mufflers in the back now so it is mostly stock Camaro sounding
@@Mr318livekinda curious because I have the dual in single out version of this. It does drone a little but its stock quiet at highway speeds.
how much have you put into the build so far? including the engine and trans..Im 17 and this build is my current goal, Already got a 07 328i just don’t know where to start next
I'll be honest, cost has gotten crazy due to the DCT transmission but I would say 10k in parts
Hey, I really appreciated this video. Nice work.
Hello. Do you have a video for the front?
i am 18 and have a 30-50 min commuted to college everyday. traffic does happen but mever tooooo bad. i drive an ecoboost now but its so lame (no sound, automatic, slow) should i get a 18-22 gt? or save my money.
If money is tight, I don't think the cool factor of a GT will be the worth having lighter pockets. I've driven ecoboost mustangs as rentals and I can't really say I felt like I missed out on a lot. There is always time for a graduation gift later 😃
You could’ve atleast showed us how to put it in bro
Yeah this was ages ago. Let’s just say it was a miracle I even posted that much lol
Would you happen to have the diagram by any chance ?
No, it’s just been too long.
My 03 Nissan doesn’t shift at all with no codes u think it could be this
My first thought would be probably not
Can I put 93 in my G? I can’t find 91 around me
Yes, that is even better. Definitely won't hurt it, 93 is higher quality (generally speaking)
Give me a sub
I just put 87 in my g37 and it’s been knocking oc you think it gone run normal if I put back in premium
It was would be rare to hear knocking from the motor. If that is the case, I doubt it would go back to normal. Hate to hear that
if you have a texaco gas station close to you, or some gas close, run that thru the car for a couple tanks and it should clean the injectors and stop the knocking
Thanks for the video, this is perfect! My 06 Altima 2.5 hesitated before engaging in 1st. The parts you replaced make perfect sense! Thanks for capturing your hard work and helping the rest of us out.
Octane is not about quality, it's about explosion temperature.
Does anyone know where I can find the info on what bolts to remove to lower the valve body? Thanks in advance
So I’ve been using regular and I have like half a tank left should I wait until empty to start using premium
I go to put my 05 altima 2.5s in drive and it dosnt even drive anymore i have to put it in Manuel 1st then 2nd then i throw it into the automatic drive gear when i get out of 2nd then itll drive fine
This is exactly what my 2004 Altima is doing.
did you solved the issue?? what was the problem?
Over my head😭
I'm 29 I will be buying my first muscle car in 2023. Gt mustang 🐎.
You can use 89 and the car will run fine
I’ve been thinking abt putting 89 in my car instead of 91 does it make a big difference? I’m too broke to be using 91 ngl🤣🤣🤣
@@joshs4136 it’s not you don’t even notice I’ve been doing this for years
No it wont
Just bought a 07 g35x & was putting regular in it for a week then when i put the 93 in it ran so much better. I rarely see 91
I bought the same car man it waste so much gas while driving 😂
promosm
Great vid bro keep taking care of the G
BMWs scare me, but there's some potential here
I have a manual 2011 N55 EU spec in Germany that's MHD tuned. Regularly drive it up to 280kmh and it's been on the nürburgring. Haven't had any issues with it and I cant think of a better RWD small 6cyl coupe for under 20k. I have all bolt ons and I recommend upgrading to a mosselman thermostat and setting the fan speed to sport, oil temp will be 20-40 degrees colder than stock, always.
I agree with just about everything that you said. I'm looking to get a 2018 or 2019 GT and don't want leather seats, want the manual but don't want to drive it everyday, especially in the snow.
What if you put half a tank of 87 and half a tank of 93?? I think it would be kinda like 91
not exactly but sort of yes
😁
what year is this car?
Good info
I daily drove my mustang for a year and definitely agree with the points especially getting in and out being 6'4 I understand the pain makes you feel like a old man 😂
I live in CO and just passed a year of ownership with my 12 GT premium CS as my daily. Automatic though. Haven't had any issues w/ my winter tires in the snow though I wouldn't risk it on the more treacherous mountain roads in the winter. I have taken several summer/fall mountain drives and the car is incredibly comfortable. I had a Nissan Rogue before, and whatever they did with the seats would absolutely kill my lower back if I had to drive any long distance. Obviously the downside currently is gas mileage, but I knew that it wouldn't be great going in.
My answer to all of these question is... why the hell not, buy it for daily driving, you already love the car and thinking of buying it so when someone says don't buy it for daily you'll get heartbroken and end up thinking about the mustang even more... so you buy it for daily and see how it goes
Look at your sitting position. Of course your back hurt gansgsta
The headrest gotta touch the back seat to keep it G 😂😂
My girlfriend ran 87 in her g37xs for 123,000 miles I recently bought the car, havent ran through a full tank yet. I let it get near empty and put 93 in it
