What changes if it's in reverse
If it is not in reverse he starts in an L-sit and then uses his hamstrings to bend the knees and his hip flexors to tuck them. Then he bends up at the shoulders using his anterior (front) deltoid and opens his legs to a straddle (hip extension using the glutes, knee extension using the quads) as well as hip abduction using the hip abductors. He continues to full shoulder flexion by continuing with the anterior deltoid then finally straightens the legs using the hip adductors. If it's in reverse then from a handstand start he straddles his legs, pulls himself down using his posterior deltoid (back of the shoulder, at the scapula), then tucks to tuck planche, uses his posterior deltoid even more to lower to tuck sit, then untucks and extends the knee. In summary, the sequence of muscles targeted is a reversed order with the exception of the deltoids. Note that in the L-sit, neither deltoid is contracting or relaxing and also that a handstand begins with the anterior deltoid contracted maximally and the posterior deltoid relaxed maximally ( basically just stretched maximally) The names of the moves also change L-sit to Straddle Planche press then Straddle Planche to Handstand press. The reverse is Hanstand to Straddle Planche press then Straddle Planche to L-sit press

@@larje0 Sorry, yeah pretty much, the deltoids moving in different ways is the difference due to the balancing through movement, but yes balancing difficulty would indeed be the same
