@ homes should be for living in and not for making a fortune. The less profitable buy to let is, the fewer dodgy landlords and the more people can actually buy their own home
It’s a good game if you can buy outright without a mortgage, otherwise you’ll not be making anything for a long time and if the boiler dies you’re out like 1.5-2k

No, it's not a good game if you buy outright, the stock market beats it easily here. It's the leverage of a mortgage that makes it worthwhile.

Section 24 is like the vat margin scheme in the motortrade ,just ask your brother about that,It has basically killed it for me.I can't argue against property making money but for me it's a cash business, whenever you put your ass on the line with a bank,it makes sleeping at night difficult.Index funds have blown my mind for the last few years,low fees,easy to manage,just keep snowballing them,funds doubling every 5 years and if your taking advantage of your stocks and shares isa allowance,£20k invested a year no tax to pay on earnings,only 6% of people in the uk have isas,WTF?,I have spread my capital around have some buy to let's but it don't excite me any longer.Although saying that isa stocks and share will be next on hit list for Starmer😂
@@joemartinproperty pretty good! But more importantly, a 5% net rental yield and 3% market value uplift are both taxable, whereas shares in an ISA aren’t. Property only makes sense when you can get the market uplift with leverage, as your example in this video shows nicely.

Buy to let is finished definitely massive crash coming.. Property overpriced by 50% commercial property crash first folliwed by massive housing price crash..
Regulation and just one or two bad tenants usually destroy this kind of business. It worked well in the past.....maybe 20 years ago.

Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things

So you need more views, subscribers in your channel and grow your channel well. Zero SEO score on your channel. If your channel has an SEO score 90 + then your video will show on google, youtube and viewers will find your video very easily and your business will increase ten times. *New Subscriber* That was excellent ! It would be interesting to see a Gantt chart or something with the timeline of how each of these steps unfolded. I think a lot of people considering doing something like this think "a couple of weeks, and it'll be done, all in for £5k". Looking at your numbers, £25k - £35k seems more likely. And I imagine there's quite a bit of stress involved when deliveries have to be chased, or tradesmen let you down. That, for me, would be the biggest headache. I can deal with extra expense when something is discovered that has to be fixed. But if you've linked up tradespeople in a logical order, and one of them skips out and everything is pushed back through no fault of yours, that would do my head in ( I respect the fact that jobs can run on, or rain stops play, but from experience hardly anyone is up front about this, or honest about the causes of delays. Just the phone calls stop being answered, and when they show up, they get shirty if you point out that they have been giving you the run around ). Looking forward to more videos !
