Love your work! I wondered in any other designers out there doing dolls houses?! I trained as a textile designer and got into them during lockdown. It satisfies my need to move and redecorate without the hard work, by doing it in miniature. Have built two houses from scratch and painted furniture, recovered sofas and chairs, made patchwork quilts and cushions and painted walls. I am soon to start my third, a Georgian manor house and have a go at chinoiserie wallpaper and machine embroidering silk fabric designs. Good luck with all your projects!

This is so cute. So happy I stumbled across your channel. I was looking for tips on how to use materials to personalized a wooden dollhouse I just bought for my daughter’s birthday (and for me, not going to lie 😂) and I found you! Now I know I can use acrylic markers ( Posca maybe?) to add some decorations. Since some parts of the house are painted in white I wasn’t sure I could paint over that and obtain good results!

I couldn’t love this video any more. I adore everything about it. My heart went out to your mom when you shared how she had won the dollhouse for $10 in a raffle. I am a mom of seven, who also tries to give my children good things and a lovely home, but every penny counts. I once won a quilt in a raffle! After I saw your video on the little cottage dollhouse you made, I have been so inspired! I painted a teeny tiny little dollhouse made by Melissa & Doug (preschool toys) which I bought for $3 from a thrift store. It’s barely suitable for one calico critter family. It was fun, but SO tiny! And then I’ve kept my eye out for something bigger, and a couple weeks ago at Goodwill, I found this bookshelf/ dollhouse which is plenty big for $30. That was steep for me, but I brought it home nonetheless. I’m just waiting for my color choices to click. In the meantime, I’ve ordered our first Maileg mouse (little sister) and plan to give it to my daughter on her upcoming birthday, along with a little sculpey clay birthday cake and pizza I’ve made for her! I just want to tell you THANK YOU for your encouraging videos! My Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother and I have always been artistic. Sculpting, painting, drawing, quilting, knitting, homemaking… But for many years, I have let my creativity really stagnate, being so busy with the kids. Your video with that little dollhouse with the Maileg mouse, and your BEAUTIFUL ocean murals, just snapped me out of it! Thank you ❤

Could listen to your voiceovers all day you have such a lovely lilt to your voice and the tone is so calming. Your dollhouse is one of the loveliest I have ever seen. I have loved miniatures since I was a young girl and this was so fun to watch. I like to paint miniature watercolors and I occasionally frame them with dollhouse frames. So fun to do.
