Seems my life over the last several months has been devoted to job serving my community. From hurricane Debby to start followed by hurricane Helene which we still haven’t recovered from and now winter storm Enzo. Usually I focus my channel on adventures in nature with off-roading and camping, but my life is also full of adventures serving my community as the Public Works Superintendent. Sometim...

Nice ❤
Where is this
@@realityoverland3180 Little Satilla WMA Southern Georgia
@@dirtroadbanditadventures8826 looks like a cool place
This is my favorite springs ❤
We thought it was pretty awesome. Next time we will camp there. Getting there at 4:30am to wait was a one time event for me. I don’t mind getting a early start but that was a little much 😂
@dirtroadbanditadventures8826 lol yes we always camp there when we go it's so much better and you get to enjoy it much more 😊
Have you had other awings to compare this too?
We have had two Rhino Rack Batwings and several square type awnings that come straight out. We also have multiple friends who have various 270 awnings. The major difference between the Rhino Rack Batwing is I can set this one up entirely by myself. It also does not hold water like others due to the kick stand. There’s several easy setup awnings on the market but they don’t necessarily shed water well. This is important because we aren’t using this just as a shade. It’s an extension of our living area and stays up sometimes for days. We have been through multiple storms and it holds up well.
@@dirtroadbanditadventures8826 I have the Alu-cab 270 and not very pleased. Same design as yours complete with "kick stand". Water still pools up and it leaks. I've been looking at other companies. Thanks for the reply.
@@xbpbat21x I totally understand. It’s not easy with so much being on the market. My favorite awning is the BUNDUTEC awning. It just has a large footprint when closed up and it is expensive. I do believe the value is worth it though. Definitely check out some of their videos.
Amazing campground. Nice spring not from from the campground 😊 full watch 5:55
Thank you
Like 👍 ❤😊❤
Thanks for the visit
You are a northerner keep on ruining Florida for your stupid likes
Thank you
Awesome and enjoyed watching!
Đẹp quá bn ạ
It was great meeting y’all as well. We ended up finding another closed gate but the reroute was pretty nice.
Guys it was great meeting you out on the trail! We said the same thing about the levy being packed. I think last year when we were there it was a Sunday so not as busy. Good luck on all your travels maybe we will meet up again. Give us a shout any time you’re coming through Bama.
Why fight beavers? Here in Montana we know beavers create the rich soils on creek and river bottoms. They also prevent the erosion which removes all those soils built up over the centuries. People who build homes near the water where beavers build are the problem, they don’t want their property flooded. That tear out dams then install riprap which increases the erosion issue downstream. Roads need to be built with multiple culverts spaced out at least 50 yards apart to accommodate the beavers. We as a whole need to understand management of beavers so that we don’t ruin the what beavers do for us. Unfortunately the learning curve is slow. I’ve actually trapped beavers when the populations become very large. This is one of many ways to manage the beavers who were traditionally hunted by large Carnivora such as grizzly bears. It’s true that each case is unique yet tearing out dams doesn’t just hurt the beaver families, it hurts us long term. Fish and all other aquatic creatures need these dams.
They’re not properly managed in our area. We live in primarily swamp land. Currently we have been experiencing a population surge. This has led to flooding in populated areas. We are now implementing a trapping program to better manage populations.
Sound's like beaver's are furry little leak stopper's.
Nice video 😊
Thanks
Great video on capturing all the cool builds and trails at the expo. I didn't ride the trails. I saw the obstacle course and that was it.
Thanks and I appreciate you subscribing. Subscribed to your channel as well and looking forward to checking out your content.
@@dirtroadbanditadventures8826 you're welcome. I think it is fun to follow along as people's channels grow. Enjoy the journey
No it doesn't fit it perfect..song doesn't relate to the video even remotly...born on bayou would be great song...its funny that you are even defending your choice of song..haha you can't take constructive criticism..this is a bad trait to have and could be an indicationof a larger problem. This is very common problem in GenZ....good luck in life
I didn’t reply to your comment or defend my choice of song. Not even part of Gen Z. I don’t have an issue with constructive criticism. I do have issues with those who have poor character. This is exactly what you have shown here. Hope you have a wonderful evening. 😂
How did you do the pass through power and what shelf is the Bluetti on? Thanks!
It’s not a true pass though as I have found. However, the fridge uses less than the vehicle puts in so until I stop for the night it stays at 100% then slowly builds back the next day of travel. I built the shelf.
Yes
Could you send me this please?
Someone should repair those county roads!! lol😅
This is what years of neglect gets you.
Excellent comment cuz yeah they may not be window deep but bet the ones putting them down won't take their Eco soccer mom van or electric Prius through it... called Jealousy cuz wifey says you can't have one lol
Breaking down on the regular
Killer CCR song and the vid fits it perfect two thumbs and two big toes up
A jeep driving g through a puddle... oh thats rough...
Ok where is your vid of your jeep going through higher water wife won't let you have one? I drive a 2001 C5 LS1 Corvette when I see a puddle of water it's damn near up to the bottom of my door. But I do have a question since you put down the vid... what do you own and please don't come up with a Carvan mini van or some eco SUV or electric thing
Baby steps. Just bringing them in from the mall. Gotta crawl before you walk. 😂
Great come back bro you get 2 thumbs on that 😁
It's 6 inches of water 🤦♂️even a Honda could go through that.
They identify as Honda Civics. You can identify as anything these days I hear.
Could have picked a way better Creedence song for this video...i know you just weren't thinking
Maybe born on a bayou but that's like a 10 minute song and vid is a short song fits it perfect
Catch em and bring em up to michigan please.
Come to the swamps of South Georgia and you can have as many as you want. They were brought here long ago and had no predators then they brought coyotes in to try and keep balance. Now we are overpopulated with both.
Best give up. The beavers always gonna win.
They will always be around but we have to keep up the fight or we won’t have any roads. It’s a never ending battle.
😁 😂 😀 🤣
Beavers play a crucial role in ecosystems and disrupting their activity leads to habitat destruction and lack of biodiversity. Embrace beavers and your land will flourish.
Unfortunately there are to many and they’re not native to the area. They have no predators here to keep them in balance. They cause a pile of destruction infrastructure and easily cause our roads to flood.
Not always. My environmental program got rid of them because they were ruining the ecosystem we already had.
@@dirtroadbanditadventures8826 beavers as a non-native invasive species is a valid reason to get rid of them for sure. Though, unfortunately many people still disrupt beavers and kill their natural preditors such as coyotes and wolves in their natural range. Both of which causes severe damage to ecosystems and biodiversity.
@@isobelesperanza that's not necessarily true. Beavers are almost always beneficial parts of a healthy ecosystem. Much of the damage to ecosystems they can cause is from lack of predation because their natural preditors are also being killed and disrupted. Not no mention that many environmental programs focus on human needs and human management instead of ecosystem repair. Even many ecology programs fail to focus on ecosystem repair.
@@willowehrich6207 that is a good point
Yeh, I once went up north with my grandparents to go blow up a beaver dam that was flooding the hunting land. A couple pounds of exploding targets and a pew pew. Boom, no more dam. It started lowering the instant we got through. Bet we have to go up there again sometime.
Boom boom!!
I had no idea y’all had to do this
It’s a constant battle. If we don’t stay on top of it they cause a pile of damage to our infrastructure.
That's a bright way to say you're gay and have no taste in vehicles
❤❤❤❤
I wanna play!!!!
Like the awning.
I will add veggies to that. Yum.
8/10 . The oven usually gets turnt off before the final dish is servered. Or risk burn pan
That poor sad omlette. Seperate the whites from the yolks, whip whites till nearly firm peaks can stand on itself, gently fold in scrambled yolks then cook on a low medium setting. Stuff with your favorite fillings before folding over, flip once to even out the coloring. 😋
I will give it a try. Not much of a chef I just cook to eat out of necessity 😂
Luv food but omelets R delish 😮
And once you know Him, you will know Peace.
No Joy

You can practically drive right up to it. It’s a 7.2 mile drive into the refuge and then a short walk up to the house.
Very cool place!!
Can't beat being out camping with a good buddy there. Awesome video new subscriber
Thank you
Looked like a good time out😁
We had a great time to spite the weather change.
Looks like a great adventure😁
