Nothing beats the sound of those factory twin piped twin carbed Kawasakis from the late 70’s early 80’s. Owned an 82 LTD 440…..engine and clutching were way ahead of the suspensions of the day! That thing was quick as hell!

You must have swapped out the engine, if it was a real Kawasaki like the ones on the arctic cat you wouldn't have made it across the pond without a breakdown.

My 340 must have been built on a Wednesday. I never lost a race top end the two years i had it 440 snow twisters 500 cats Polaris Skidoo rvs 440 Kawasaki's. when it got to 75 or 80 it would start to whine and it was time to hang on especially on the perfect side roads. I spun the cable off the speed o three weeks after i got it new in 77. Apparently the size if the crank case was very suited to the lower displacement at the upper rpm. so i never got the hole shot but i never seen them again after 70 mph

Swapped out an engine in an Invader 440 once for a buddy. Years ago, as a teen, friends dad use to run against an Invader on his El Tigre 6000. Both rockets of the day! I would love to own one of these Interceptors today!
