Spend some time learning to have fun while teaching, like going to a rock concert and then teaching the rockstars on stage and not getting boo'd off. Learn an art style and master producing art at a level you're happy with. Presentation is Beauty + personal engagement. Master these two concepts and you will reach many many more people than you can handle. There are also ways of gaming the TH-cam engine. Look for a mentor and keep it up! I enjoyed your content. Your best video copied a particular style so post all your videos like that. You absolutely have what it takes and are already enough to achieve your dreams just start small and aim small a little everyday will amount to good progress over time.
Thanks
Sorry ma’am but the answer should be 7.9 for the first question because we don’t write zero when rounding decimals
You can tho
common core takes 3x as much work. and teaching multiple ways to new learners is a recipe for disaster..sure the advanced students will get it, but it may make it harder for other students, common core should be an elective enrichment class.
Common Core math isn't just one thing. It teaches kids a variety of ways to solve any one problem, including the standard algorithms (at a good school). The conceptual stuff is typically taught first -- because it's meant to cement concepts (like the Distributive Property) - what multiplication actually is. Plus, the area model can be extended to pre-calculus, when multiplying and dividing polynomials.
@@chocolateangel8743 it sacrifices basic skills to teach problem solving, school curriculum is ridiculous, schools require a foreign language that most people never become fluent in and never use,why not use that time to have a class on things like problem solving and other useful skills.
@@110311DONTWANTCHANNE Basic skills are still being taught -- just not in the same ways as before. Kids have to know basic skills to succeed in algebra. Math is problem solving. As for the foreign-language component, many people travel outside the country and/or are exposed to people that speak different cultures and languages. This experience can change the way you see the world. It did for me. *FUN FACT* --I view math as a language (of numbers), so there is little difference between it and a traditional foreign language.

How did you glue the popsicle stick?
I'd like to see how you calculate pi with common core math
Common core is for which children exactly? We learned it the regular way, the first time and, have no issues….. So again….WHICH CHILDREN IS THIS FOR???
Thanks, I hate it.

Def wrong
1+1=3 I wonder if 2+2=6 😮😮😮 😂😂😂😂😂😂
erm what the sigma 🤓

The level varies a lot. In some states, multiplication of multiple digits numbers is covered in 5th grade.
not under 'common core'
@@110311DONTWANTCHANNE Yeah, they do. Stuff isn't taught the same way, everywhere -- even when it comes down to different school districts in the same state. It can even come down to what an individual teachers knows. Some teachers are better than others.
@@chocolateangel8743 then they aren't following common core....common core was meant to make things uniform across the country
Thank you!
This video just saved my butt as a substitute teacher! Thank you so much ♥️♥️
I'm so glad it helped!

Liam, you are such a big boy! Happy Birthday!
I’m in 7th grade math in 6th grade. I’m adding fractions on calculators. And I get a decimal. And I was struggling to figure out how to change a decimal into a fraction. Thank you so much. Keep up the amazing work.
Happy to help!
Give her a like at the least
Do a face reveal plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Who r u
How do you do a pemdas😅😮
6.70 because 4 becomes a 0 like 7.53 is 7.50 im just watching this since im bored i learned this a while ago like a year ago
That’s what I got 7.70
My question is how is this easier for kids? I mean in common core I'm trying to learn now I was taught the old way, but how is this easier for example, 10x30 is 300 how is a 4th grader going to know how to multiply 10x30 that's still a huge number for a kid, or do they have to break that down further? I don't see how this is easier and I'm struggling to teach my daughter this stupid core stuff when I can't even see how it helps except making one problem on one sheet of paper?
The common core method teaches more about the relationships between numbers and allows students to come up with formulas themselves instead of just being told to memorize them all. It also aids in mental math, as doing simply multiplication and remembering the number is easier than trying to format the numbers over each other and do all the carrying in your head.
@@lMlacrohardthat’s the gibberish they tell people to sign onto the common core theory but in my opinion it does not.
👍 good class
16 letters
Very helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

Awesome job!
I did this in my head in 4 seconds
Yea i never could work my head around the speed method. So it took me about 20 seconds with the old method. But why are we teaching the kids a far less efficient method with 3x the steps. They complained about mistakes before….now they’ve introduced 100 different places to make mistakes.
😮I get it now... its...IDK😂
😮👏
Like seriously no one is even liking the video, she is smart. So guys give this video a like.

Thanks for explaining
Do you have your worksheets on a website or do you find them and print them out?
Right now I put together my own curriculum from grabbing workbooks at the store and some ideas from online. I’m currently working on my own curriculum to share soon 😊
Why can’t I find a single video of numbers with more than 2 digits ????? How do you do larger numbers ???? I’m sick of writing out a whole page to do one math problem
don't worry, you are never going to actually use this common core method
@@duckvs.chipanddale585 There is more than one method for multiplication taught CC -- including the standard. The standard just isn't the first or only thing kids learn.
@@chocolateangel8743 theres also the terrible number line method for addition plus subtraction
It’s a start 👍 best time to learn ❤
