Dude firstly House Of The Dragon is not an action series but a political drama where they talk and talk and towards the end give us a battle or an action sequence. So you saying nothing happened is not entirely true. Rhaenys died, Aemond is headed to the river lands and Rhaenyra has gathered both her army and dragon riders. Season 2 was the actual set up of the main story while season 1 was the background. Unfortunately, they couldn't pay it off with the battle of The Gullet because HBO has had financial issues and we're in major debt. Reason why GOT s1-4 is the most talked about and most loved is not the spectacle but the characters talking and plotting and then once they are done they battle. As soon as the characters stopped talking and plotting we got season 5,7 &8 were action happened for the sake of happening and for unearned shock value. House of The Dragon has adopted the same formula where everyone just talk and plan and in the second last episode we get a battle or something action. It is the politics that make this fantasy series popular..The dragons and battles come as an added bonus. Yes some scenes dragged but the story is ended exactly where it was supposed to end the first chapter of The dance of Dragon. And Rhaenyra does not take revenge until after Jace dies in the battle we unfortunately didn't get due to budget reasons but to say nothing happens just because we did not get to see that battle is misleading at best. Right now all armies are marchin. Daemon and Rhaenyra are headed to KL and The Battle of The Gullet is about to take place. So Season 3 first and second episodes would start by paying off everything that was set up and then set up some more for what is to happen in season 3 &4. Rather they take their time and set up properly than give us a rushed mess that was GOt S8 because without proper set up the story falls apart. Season 1 was the backstory and season 2 is actually season 1 of the main story setting up things in order to make their pay offs impactful just like Rhaenys battle was. If Episode 1-3 didn't set up for it would have felt Hollow like arya killing The Nk

The fluid animation is so well done makes it feel more real

I remember seeing the movie as a kid when it appeared on the TV, and I didn't stop watching it. I still enjoy it, and I see nothing wrong with it. To this very day, I still wish for a sequel.
