I knew I had a basically free sub-hour going into that Final Trial but I still found a way to almost screw it up lol. So glad I got this. It's at least not as terrible as my 1:02 was in FN and DS, but if I didn't screw up Bulblax it'd be a mid 58 so I'm slightly hurting on that.
I can somewhat consistently 1-day Forest of Hope now, though this run being a 7 day would make you think otherwise. So next milestone for me is RTA 6 day. Trying to go through FoH 1-day with IS1 playthroughs inbetween every attempt is actual torture though.

Probably the closest I've ever been to 1-daying FoH. Didn't expect to get an RTA 7 day run on the third day of actual attempts. Trying to 1-day FoH single segment is probably my next goal. DS, IS2 and some parts of FN weren't great but I'm pretty pleased with still 1-daying FN and also how well FoH went. FT was pretty good this time too. FN, IS2 and FT were all pretty bad but this beats my previous best at least. Need to remember to grow extra reds in FoH 2 next time since I had to play it safe with Beady. I know I can get a better time than this, but will just be posting PBs whenever I get them.

This is it. The only major timeloss here is from screwing up the weapon 3 clip, which cost me just over a minute. On that note I think 47:xx is extremely doable since there are a few other ~5s mistakes here and there. It's nice to finally have a complete run of the new route though. This is a challenge run to complete the Forest Navel using only glitched Puffmin, with an important caveat that I don't get the Guard Satellite since you can't kill Beady with them. I mostly winged this hence the gross disgusting suboptimal 7 day completion. This crash can happen when the Smoky Progg heads back to the onions while it's coming from the wrong half of DS. I found out about this from a speedrunner recently (shoutouts to BigChunguzz). The Switch version of Pikmin 1 will crash on the Day 2 Onion cutscene after you get a Day 1 extinction. SUB 3:10!!!!! A lot of the timesave in this comes from playing at 240fps. I'm not sure why yet, but this saves time over the course of the run.
