Hi, I'm Branch and this channel is basically just for stuff where I talk about stuff. Primarily games but there might be ramblings about movies or anime and such at some point as well. Content on here will be episodes of Does Anyone Remember, maybe some challenge runs and if I decide to do tier lists or top 10s and stuff like that they'll also end up here. Does Anyone Remember? - Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories
What i want is Springtrap as the Killer (duh), Michael Afton as the Survivor, they could make their Original Michael design, if they want a second Survivor, Henry Emily and the FNAF 1 Location as the map, Springtrap should be taken in the Entity's Realm from UCN and Michael (and Henry) from FNAF 6
Looks likable, definitely for vtm or helsing fans :3
Android based character like Anna from Gen13. Looks like a maid but her limbs and head turn into weapons
A lightning based monster would be a good choice or maybe an elemental being that can use all the elements. FIRE and Lightning for attacks, water for defence, earth for heavy attacks. Using a combo of fire water and earth could transform your elemental character into a stone golum warrior for an ultimate. Yokai monster Fear character that can change its form into what each opposing character fears the most. Blob monster that works like Venom but can turn into puddles of goo.
We need a sleepy hollow, arachnid, kraken, teddy bear, & gargoyle character for sure, possibly a lizard or dragon type of character
I would love a nun character who is an absolute zealot to showcase that dark side of humanity. She'd go after characters like Felicia and John Talbain even though they clearly aren't evil.
Fr fr like every time I play it like it is not even scary at all nothing creeps me out but one of the indoor maps creep me out like where the killer aka the doctors map like it's creepy at 1st but once I adapted it it's not

Dbd used to be scary for the first 10 games but then it got kind of funny imo
Great video! I feel Tessa from red earth would work wonders in darkstalkers given they had a crossover manga. X3 Though, Mei Ling (Hsienkos sister) would be an awesome inclusion given how much we actually see her in darkstalkers Media such as comics, the ova, her game cameos, etc
You are wrong, Ormond atmosphere was way better before the visual rework, when it was cloudy and bleak. Coldwind should have the same lightning as Dead dawg saloon. Eyrie of crows is too damn bright, in the 5.4.0 PTB it had way better ilumination.

I think your writing and editing needs some work (sometimes it feels a bit rambly/off topic and the volume of the background footage is louder than you) but I liked this video! good work
The thing about entity is that people for some reason downplay the entity no matter how much evidence there is against it. The best example is pyramid head. His power description literally confimrs that entity controls his cages
My character ideas for a Darkstalkers game and their names: 1. *Dell O’Hann* - A Dullahan who wields both a sword and a whip made from a human vertebra. He can also throw his disembodied head to bite and headbutt opponents. 2. *Medusa, Jr.* - A Gorgon who wears a pair of sunglasses. She will have a snake’s tail instead of legs that she can whip and constrict her opponents with, and as a Gorgon, she can petrify her enemies. Additionally, she can also spit venom from her snake hair. Her backstory shows that she also happens to be a high school student and a TH-camr, and she also loves to cosplay. 3. *Saurus* - A lizardman who came from deep in the Amazon Rainforest. His moveset involves biting, scratching, and tail whipping. Additionally, he can also transform into a fire-breathing Tyrannosaurus rex (as a lizardman, his moveset will be based on Reptile from Mortal Kombat and Lizardman from Soul Calibur, and as a T-rex, his moveset will be based on Sauron and Diablo from Primal Rage and Hauzer from Red Earth). 4. *Skull* - A skeleton warrior who can dismantle himself to attack opponents as well as used a sword and shield (he also wields a bow and a boomerang). He’s based on Spinal from Killer Instinct. 5. *Drakon* - An anthropomorphic dragon that can attack using his talons, fangs, wings, and tail as well as fire breath to fight his opponents. His moveset will be based on Ridley from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. 6. *Marina Tiburon* - A mermaid who came from the ruins of Atlantis and wields a trident. She has a shark motif and can transform from human form to mermaid form (she will be based on Ellen Joe from Zenless Zone Zero). Since she is based on a shark, she can also attack her opponents by biting and tail whipping. Additionally, she can also summon aquatic animals to assist her (sharks, piranhas, eels, killer whales, and a kraken). 7. *Kojira* - A kaiju who can size-shift from human-sized to Godzilla-sized (in fact, he IS based on Godzilla). His moveset will be inspired from kaiju movies and tokusatsu shows (including an atomic breath, his moveset will be based on Godzilla fighting games, Rampage, and Gigabash). When he grows to kaiju size, he will do the “rise” pose from Ultraman. His backstory shows that he loves performing in both kaiju movies and kids’ shows as well as advertisements and PSAs (in-universe, he’s also known as the “Friend to All Children”, as a reference to Gamera). His story mode’s good ending will involve him advertising an official action figure of himself and his true ending involves him performing a stage show for kids at an orphanage for charity. 8. *Mothman* - A Mothman (obviously) from Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He will be portrayed as a gothic character with psychic powers. He can hypnotize and swoop down at his opponents, and his backstory shows that he was the one who tried to warn people about the Silver Bridge collapse. His good ending involves him becoming the hero of Point Pleasant, and his true ending will involve him becoming a vigilante hero. 9. *Zeta Reticuli* (note: codename, his true name is unpronounceable to humans) - An alien scientist who was previously a prisoner in Area 51. He can use psychic powers as well as alien tech and specimens of alien plants, fungi, and parasites to attack his opponents. 10: *Arachne* - A spider monster (she has a female human upper body and a spider’s legs and abdomen). Her species is the natural predator of Q-Bee’s species. Her moves involve shooting webbing, injecting venom via biting, and skewering opponents using her eight legs.

Very well made video! I loved the way you presented your ideas and how you carried yourself in writing and speaking! I see other people suggesting turning the game audio down in the future, I do want to add that some parts of the video actually benefit from the gameplay being more audible (in my opinion). Like in your description in the beginning of the realms and each character, it felt almost like a documentary. Like you brought the listener into the game with you to give a first-hand experience instead of just telling. Almost like an audio version of show-dont-tell. Keep up the great work dude! I hope you consider delving deeper into specific characters in DBD. Personally I’ve always been interested in how each specific characters story influences their, position in the realms I made a whole google doc about how The Legion’s dynamics across all DBD medias paint a picture of who each character is and why they’re in the Realm like they are. 😅

the main dilemma they failed to solve is the balance fear <-> speed scary game cannot be fast, it MUST be slow BUT... children do not like and will not play slow games children like speed, children like chaotic behavior hence old Dead Hard, unconditional Decisive Strike, old 3-man hatch escape 'just because' and so on
Last semester I took a Game Genre Workshop class and wrote about this exact topic. Man I wish this video was out then, it would've been such a great video to reference
The map design and appearance of the new killers have really badly affected the aesthetics of the game. I think that the rework of cold wind is when this decline of atmosphere started and it saw its apex with the skull merchant release. I remember how dreadful it was hearing pyramid head dragging his sword or how isolated I felt knowing wraith is sneaking around with his bell. Doing a generator in a dark foggy forest while looking out for huntress as you hear her distant lullaby really made you feel trapped in a forgotten world. The rework to shelter woods really badly hurt as well because that map went from feeling barren and isolated to "oh wow the big shiny military base with the fancy millennial clothes in the bedroom". MacMillan, cold wind, and auto haven all have buildings in them, but they feel like a dangerous place you shouldn't be at. I feel like I am playing a video game whenever I walk around rpd, garden of joy, new cold wind, xenomorph map, and the singularity alien planet.
I dunno, I feel like there's a sense of horror associated with a military base in the middle of nowhere. Sure there are some comforts in the little room upstairs but you look out of the window and there's just forest for miles. It's the contrast of a piece of home in a sea of trees that's scary, the isolation of being all alone with nothing but this little place someone built. (With mannequins built from human parts outside)
@saine-grey you don't think a run down 1800s shed beside a giant tree is creepier than a modern military base with neon lights?
@@the_main_character447 It's a different kind of horror but honestly yeah. I never played the old sheltered woods. Cornfield is the least scary map in the game to me. I even find the artist's map scarier but I still see what they were going for.
I think the almost entire removal of the dark mist had more to do with it to me. It's part of why I enjoy the lights out mode so much.
I run stealth builds to bring back the horror to the game. I get messages from players saying I scared them.

Honestly the problem is that after a while as survivor you literally have nothing to fear. Perks, loops, and lack of novelty really kills the scare factor of the game. To me it was only scary for the first week I played, and that’s cause I had literally no clue what I was doing.
Ada's survival of Raccoon City is actually a playable story in the Umbrella Chronicles. She managed to retrieve a G-Virus Sample for Wesker who gave her iconic grappling gun which she used to hitch a ride on a container carried by a helicopter right before the town was nuked.
I don't believe in spirits and all that mythology. Human killers to me are the scariest like Ghostace, Legion, Skull Merchant and Trickster.
in the current state of the game people in this game don't want to be scared (me included) see the Lights Out game mode. it's one of the most hated modes because less information means: Killer sided game. this game has become too competitive to be scary. and that said any stealth killer scares me in this game.
Is it bad that the game was never scary? When you are new, I've seen plenty that haven't done much research, still rely on stealth, scared of the killer's heartbeat. But after a week, and especially if they are in coms with other survivors, they transition to either gen jocky or love the chase. There will always be the noob stompers or the ones everyone hates (tombstone Myers, 1 hatchet down huntress, ect), but those are usually based on addons, and not the killers themselves.
I love the style of your video and just subbed. Would only say you should turn down the gameplay a tad, had to turn the video way up to barely hear you. Anyways have a great day and am looking forward to the next upload
THANK YOU for the comments abt Trickster and SM, im so sick of people crying that they "arent real horror!!11!" when I think theyre some of the scariest concepts. An Idolised celebrity getting away with murder due to his loyal fans and a rich woman who has all the money in the world to be as sadistic as she wants. It shows that killers can be human, look just like us and exist with us without us knowing what goes on behind closed doors
I don’t think it’s about the storyline, they’re just not scary to play against. Myers or ghost face isn’t scary because of his background, it’s because the low terror radius and sneak ups. Trickster isn’t the same
@@TariqNavabiGaming none of the killers are scary to play against in game honestly. Once you have over 10 hours in the game, its just not a horror game anymore
@@pixie_lixiie that’s true the killers are basically never scary on their own. the only actual ‘scare’ that lasts over time is jump scares however, hence why stealth killers still have that at least. even a wraith isn’t TOO scary because you can hear it start to uncloak, but I do get anxious doing a gen once I know there’s a ghost face or Myers because I have to continue to look around and even then I can get pulled off and that shit makes me jump haha

I don´t think unknown is scary at all, rather weak, he already looks like he is on the verge of death. only the mechanic to wipe out his illusions is scary, since he could teleport there anytime

Nah, i agree that the trickster and skull merchant being a different type of horror is interesting. In no way do they fit the game setup and atmosphere and there is the problem. This is supposed to be a place filled up with monsters and abominations that the human mind cannot mostly comprehend and thats the charm of such horror. But if you still think this is ok, lets see how you react if they add Patrick Bateman to the roster... The game itself, on the other hand, isnt scary anymore because of a lot of factors. I would dare to say that the first one is the graphics. With such outdated graphics, the amount of effort you can put to create a very creepy atmosphere, is quite limited. The movement looks jank and outdated, its almost comical.

I went against a wesker today and he was legit carrying a survivor while chasing me that was the most scariest thing ever.
The reason it's no longer scary, is because it became too competitive. The objective for the survivors is to win. I remember the early days it didn't really matter if you got killed or not. The thrill of hiding and getting chased was fun enough. The objective of fixing the generator was a secondary thing and it was rare to get it done. The hatch was just another way to escape. Now all they talk about is killer kill rates and survivor escape rates. It's trying to be too balanced. I blame streamers. Popularized tactics and how to escape. That's why F13 will always be better. It will always be scary because Jason can be powerful and escape is not guaranteed.

Friday the 13th game isn't scary, but it is atmopsheric, and I will agree that it's fun. The reason why it might seem unbalanced is because Jason has to be stronger than the average dbd killer, because he's going against 7 counsellors. But in reality, you have options to fight back, especially if you are good at stealth, so I would say the game is actually pretty well balanced ever since they brought Jason's rage mode in the game.

Trickster: make his chase theme way more creepy. Like have no filter with it by having the sirens a bit louder, screams would be more clear, k-pop music. Then make trickster yap more like make him have more voice lines like Chucky where he yaps while chasing
This game isn’t scary cuz it’s not gory. Fear would be like first person, jumpscares and it has to make u feel completely powerless. That is what a horror game should do. Like idk but with killers having different powers isn’t very scary. If dbd wants to be scary then they should keep updating stuff to make it more realistic like how they did the red forest

When you get use to the game of course its not scary. However sometimes you still get a good jumpscare from a stealth killer. This argument can be said about any game. RE isnt scary when youve played a couple hours. Phasmophobia isnt scary when youve done a few levels. Every horror game suffers from this
1.0 was scary for the first 20 hours. After that you realized you were the power role. Vacuum pallets and infinites, Brand new part instantly doing gens and sabo insta destroying hooks forever. I’m a legacy player and I can the say the game is way better now.
this!!!! a good friend introduced me to dbd way back even before mikaela came in with the broken heal meta, and at first i was so surprised by how confident they were and how scared i was lol, not to mention i kept missing skillchecks at first and was so worried about being found in any way. but soon you realized that it's a resource management thing, and that the killer has zero time to spare lol and a lot of players and hook states and other stuff to burn through. i like how the game is right now. the only thing that kept the original dbd in check was that people weren't generaly as efficient overal, but that happens to any game that lasts longer than a year. people start getting better at it as a whole.
