Oh no, we junked it! Recovering our Golf Cart from the creek with the John Deere 325G Skid Steer
Wow - we certainly didn't expect that to happen! After only one short week on the farm, our EZ-Go turned into an EZ-Don't when it went for an unintentional and unexpected swim in the creek.
Every once in a while, Mister Legacy & Lady Legacy enjoy some quiet time at one of our most favorite spots on the farm. Deep in the woods, there's a beautiful little creek cutting through the trees where one day, we hope to build a log cabin (who knows, perhaps it'll be a YT video one day!). In the meantime, it's an awesome place for mom and dad to watch the stars and unwind after the kids have gone to bed.
But this time, things went a little sideways when we suddenly rolled off a steep embankment and into the rocky creek bed below. What was initially a peaceful moment quickly turned into a heart-stopping accident that caused some pretty bad damage to our new farm cart.
But we are certainly counting our blessings! It could have been much worse - not only were we completely uninjured except for a few minor scratches, but the damage to the golf cart is completely fixable. We are counting ourselves very lucky that we're looking at a parts bill instead of a medical bill.
The next morning, our good friend and fellow farmer came to help us fish the golf cart out of the creek. Replacement parts have been ordered, and we hope to have our new favorite farm vehicle back on all fours in the coming weeks. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss the upcoming rebuild video!

Where did all of these puppies come from?! Counting dogs and cutting hay on the farm this summer
มุมมอง 57หลายเดือนก่อน
Holy moly - that’s a whole lotta dogs! We had an amazing start to the spring season by fostering 12 abandoned Great Pyrenees puppies for a local rescue. We found them in our barn over the winter with no mama in sight. After weeks of bottle feeding, we found a breed specific rescue in our state that let us take care of them (and love on them!) while they worked hard to find them loving homes. Gr...
We Finished Our Planter Pot Garden Just in Time!
มุมมอง 442 หลายเดือนก่อน
Since we’re living in the barndominium while we renovate our house, it didn’t make sense to build our raised beds just yet - they would have been too far away and we’re still not sure where they fit in to our backyard landscaping plan. So instead of procrastinating another spring, we planted a temporary planter pot (bucket) vegetable garden behind the barn. And we actually discovered that it’s ...

We had one that we named Pepe Le pew. He had less white than yours
So cute! 😁
We have one this year!! Haven’t seen them in our neighborhood for 15 years!!
So cute!❤❤
Beautiful
We had pet skunks growing up. Descented they make AWESOME pets and they are beautiful, smart and great hunters ❤ Dont let anyone discourage you from having them around.
Majestic AF! ❤I love skunks. 🦨 I had a skunk come save me when I was almost attacked by a rattlesnake.
❤😊 beautiful and awesome ❤❤❤
There was a mom that had her babies in my backyard under the shed. They were so cute! But we all avoided the yard until animal control came 😂
Skunks are adorable, it's just that smell is too much. 😮😂
Wow, fluffy one!
That's how I offload the 800lb bales we buy about once a month. Right out the back of mama bear's truck. We've only got a horse and a pony, so no skidsteer. We're house and horse poor. 😂
That’s the problem you let boys and girls drive it not men and women who are much smarter because they’ve done things that kids will never understand.
To be fair its a golf cart not a quad or utv!
You're 100% right! A UTV would have been a lot more fun too :)
Off road also does not mean built for jumping multiple feet into the air
Haha, you are correct on that one!
I am betting alcohol was involved because no bad decisions were ever made after having salad!
@@sturnie1 Haha, actually the driver was not impaired - just over-confident which is equally as dangerous apparently! 🤣
Well, they are adorable now. If kept, they'll be loved, it appears!❤
What Natives Americans said...
Wolves lol
❤🐾❤🐾❤🐾❤🐾
I hope you didnt leave them alone
There’s no way - my girls couldn’t leave them alone for even ten seconds! 😂 We’re happy to say they’ve all been adopted 😊
❤❤❤
Hopefully you can find homes if you can't keep them❤
We wanted to keep them all! But thankfully a local rescue found homes for all twelve of them ❤
Lol
AHHH THEYRE SOOO CUTEEE
Don’t they just make you wanna squeeeeee!
@@LegacyAcresFarm YESSS 😭😊
When I was 11 my Grandpa had a roast in the oven when we went over and he offered us some. My mom said something I didn't quite hear as I was so excited. And I helped him eat the whole thing. I found out a month later driving with my Grandpa I finally asked him what kind of roast that was as it was the beat roast I have ever had. He then asked me if I heard what my mom said?. I said no and he told me what she had said, which was " I am not going to eat something that can taste me back." I didn't understand what she had meant so grandpa said remember that cow we butchered and I got you to hold it's tongue. Well that's what the roast was.
Its great meat.
Excellent eating meat, very tasty,in fresh made Corn tortillas with some Hot sauce, Pura Vida!!!!
That sounds delicious!
Used to be a popular American dinner but people get all grossed out. It's good meat. Don't eat it what would anyone care if you don't like it

Tongue broth makes the best french onion soup
🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮heeelllllll nnnnnnnooooo
Is the best part of any animal slater for Human food. One large size uncooked cow tong is about 80$ , you should learn how to Cooke it .the best sandwich meat.
It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be eating more of it.
My great grandpa used to take a wheelbarrow to the local butcher after they closed down. They used to give him the cabeza (with brains, eyes and tongue) tripas, menudo, liver, heart etc... for free....becuase theybwere going to throw it out anyways...after a few years...they started charging him for it...not they charge a robbers price.
@@GPERZ208 I love this - thank you for sharing! We've been trying to eat more cuts of meat that we've never tried before, and it has been really interesting. 99% of the time, it just takes like beef, because well...you know, it's beef!
Wtf
It's cow tongue. Lots of people actually eat them and find them good!!
Not me
Not me
I think you're supposed to take the white part off before cooking
I think some people do that as well. The recipe I followed said this way made peeling easier. 🫣😳🤯
Ok i am slow😂 what is that please tell me not some type of tongue
Beef tongue! Also known as Lengua. It was awesome! Highly recommend 😊
Lengua is so good, when you know what it is you may gag, but once boiled or broiled you remove the skin and chop the meat and make tacos.
We were blown away! It’s probably one of my most favorite cuts of meat now! We made tacos and they were bomb.
😊 26:08 26:16 🎉
what model grapple is this?
did the grapple break the hose of the CTL?
What a couple of cuties! Those girls are adorable! People don't get what they're missing out on in life when they ship their kids off to day care and work their lives away just to get by. Appreciate the time you get with them. Good luck and be safe.
