Nick's 256BHP (191kw) Starlet
Just a quick edit of Nick's starlet, which happens to be my old car. Since my last video on my channel it is now making 191kw on a fully forged 4EFTE with a GT2860r gen 2 and electronic boost controller. (20 psi)
For full mod list, check the description of the review i did of this car when i owned it, except factor in the new turbo and boost controller i mentioned, as well as a new exhaust manifold. Car is still on premium 98 fuel.

I found the torque steer worse without power steering. My advice is to keep it.
How do you made it reve like that over 8000 rpm... Mine its original with fully forged engine but it revs maximum 7500 rpm...mine its about 300 bhp with 18 psi

For a $20,000 car it was awesome but let's not get crazy, it was looks then mediocre performance. I had an 06 from new and no complaints but definitely not the smoke being blown from the narrator lol.

Great video! For Australia and New Zealand, did the 200SX S15 come with the non-turbo engine as well? (SR20DE). Also, for what model years was the S15 200SX available in Australia and New Zealand?
I believe they did. We also got the convertible (Varietta) S15 which had a SR20DE in auto only. Also thanks lol
Yes they do, I'm looking for buy one in the next 1 or 2 years that is an "S15 Spec S Aero SR20DE" 4 speeds and manual as well

Good review Also if you want to drive a falcon fast seat time goes along way. Good driver (or even average) will be able to do plenty well to spite the weight.

I own the 1.6 version. Of course the V6 would be more fun but how this car corners makes up for all the missing hp of the 1.6! Its a lot of fun this car!
Nice EP, at what RPM is Nick starting to see boost with GT2860R? And at what RPM is turbo delivering full 20psi. Just trying to decide on turbo and dont want to much lag for my driving. Thanks
Off the top of my head it was 4000ish. It is a pretty large turbo for a 1.3L engine to spool but he had a E-boost controller and a suitably sized exhaust manifold which helped keep the lag down.
20psi @ 4000rpm is cool!!what A/R turbine housing that he is using?

I have a 2007, and it has been my favorite car by far! We sometimes have to hit on the freeway to release the need for freedom!! Many have offered to “ Mr. Tibbs”!! Seriously never had any issuers with engine, or anything but relaxing just due to it wore out. It truly is so slick around corners, this car also keeps me filling young at heart! My grandkiddos call it grandmas race car!! 😁 This I absolutely love!! I won’t travel fast with them in it!! However they must feel it’s going fast due to how they see it!! I need to have plates in it” grandma’s race car!!”

I bought the 2007 SE in 2006 brand new and all of these years later, almost 15, she has never given me a lick of trouble after I replaced the dodgy clutch. I LOVE this car and just had her repainted and a few little dents repaired. In other words, I'm keeping her until she dies.

Legitimately prefer these to Supras. If they made an awd train option, this car would rival modern Audis. 🙏
You can’t really compare this to a Supra. They are completely different cars. Also, the Coupe is on the same platform as the Santa Fe, meaning if you wanted, you could convert it to AWD with a Santa Fe driveline, rear differential and transfer case

Hey bro nice proyect , just a quick question mine does the same with the temp, when revving hard (over 7k) it drops like if cold and then goes back up like urs. They've told me that its due to the thermostat but it actually avoids the car from overheating so should I change it ?? Nice vid by the way 👍👍👍
Thanks boss. To be honest i actually never figured out why that happened. But it never ended up being a problem for me. "AU starlet club" on FB has heaps of knowledgeable guys there who may know the answer! 👊

Lol, I have a 5dr and a 3dr. Ain’t gonna sell either of them.
Also, 205 rears make the rear stick and a gearbox oil change makes all the difference. I am trying to figure out better suspension geometry to reduce oversteer, but haven’t had the time to build and test it.
