    what code for the image taking and reading? is there a dif one for just taking the images? what if no report done, and very little reading? W"here can a patient request a reading? place i went didn't know of any radiologist and no report or DX put in. Next place i was going front desk (Dr. Fischer) said to get one, but once there dentist didn't have a way to view, and said he didn't know how to read them! other place sent a photo to him, and no kind of report! I urgently need assessment. Maxofacial surgeon looked at it, but gave no guidance and a quick assessment I thought he could take care of everything bc of his background (Dr. . i asked questions, but he would not answer. like isn't that a fallen sinus? He said , i don't know what you have had done. He went and called the ordering dentist, Dr. To, I was going to a dif biological dentist bc i had mercury amalgam put in my roots by an Oral Surgeon on tooth #14 after a failed root canal. Next Endo didn't tell me about it,. it was hurting around 14, 15. he said lets try 15 and see if that resolves things. Pain still. Was not aware for 7-8 years, and affected my brain and health. Also other toxins added to this (ruptured silicone implants, 5 Gal of pesticides pumped in our house every 3 months (I think it accumulated on the concrete slab foundation)-. Found out when went to ENT to fix deviated septum that implants up in at #2, and #14. still some amalgam in tissue as well. and some other issue. covid happened, and no guidance from ENT. etc. I need guidance of what to do first, and try to get "medically necessary" so med insurance will pay, any guidance, or who is a good biological endodontist etc? why couldn't the maxofacial surgeon have taken care of this? deeper issue if failed #15, #3, and 4 also very calcified dentist finally told me.whole mouth bad! how should this be managed? help!

    Wow! Good for YOU!!! I used to go to Revere Beach as a child! I am 46 now. I have a problem! I went to.a dentist and received 3 implants done in Dec. in 2020. They told me in 3-4 months I would have teeth. The hygienist was the one who noticed one implant did not have enough bone. They removed it, and I had a bone graft. (I paid for all services) I bought the waterpick, and bought special toothpaste. So basically what I'm trying to say is Home Care was explained by the dental hygienist. It took a year-and-a-half to get to dental implants. I also paid for three crowns and root canal. However, I am still missing the dental implant bet they gave a bone graft for. And I received a pill the other day. Now I'm looking at my upper implant. I thought it was like a toothache. I said wait a minute that's my dental implant! I haven't had it in my mouth for 6 months yet. I am convinced that I must have the conditions that you are mentioning. Thankfully I have antibiotics and I just took them but I pressed on it myself and there's no doubt it's inflamed it's red it is receding over my tooth which is the implant. I don't want to be graphic. But, I tasted what is the usual taste when you have an abscess in your gums and blood came out when I spit in the sink. I can explain to you how irate I am. Not only is this dentist saying I owe him money when I really told it all in fact they owe me an implant! But now on top of them not ordering the correct crowns, I have this to look forward to? I was so happy I could smile again. Thank God the hygienist stressed the importance of home care. But, something else is at hand right now. I am not a smoker. I eat well and take care of myself as a single mom. I'm in school full-time for health information management to finish my bachelors because my son's father died. I do not have the money for a gum graft or a removal of this dental implant. I know I'm going to sound really I don't know what to say arrogant or but I'm going to press on this and make it pop. I don't have the damn money. And I have to grow a pair I guess. Because on Monday I will obviously have to call the b***** secretaries at this place. It's not an oral surgery facility. It's a new dental practice where the dentist took the entire summer off last year and I'm sure he's probably taking the entire summer off again. I'm sure you know about Massachusetts and this place is in Billerica. It is new. I will not name the place because it's not fair. But it's also not fair for me too roll my tongue over this red inflamed gums and have pus come out of it after all of the money and the waiting that I had to do and I'm still without a dental implant and I get a bill. I know that you said that you were in Boston now but this is a year ago so I I'm just asking you for some advice. I know he would tell me don't push it. But, I don't have the money. I really don't I'm in student loan debt up to the yin and I just don't have the money right now. And I did absolutely nothing to cause this. For the dentist to just drill dental implants into my gums without even checking to see if there was enough bone in the first place, extracting it and doing the bar graph and never putting the dental implant in is enough to sue. What are your thoughts? With love, Burlington Mass

    Is there supposed to be plastic on the bite sticks? I went to the dentist and and they didn’t have plastic on it

    • @PlanmecaUSA
      @PlanmecaUSA 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The bite sticks are to be disinfected between each patient with an approved cleaning disinfectant or wipe by the user manual instructions to eliminate cross contamination. Planmeca does not sell barriers for this, but there are some third party bite stick barriers that some dentists may choose to utilize as an added layer of protection.
