My arrangement of Billy Joel's "This Night" for five voices (TTBB quartet and a soloist). Words and music by Billy Joel.
I've always loved this song and have wanted it to be included alongside such classics as "The Longest Time" in the Billy Joel doo-wop revival canon. Hopefully, this arrangement makes it easier for folks to dive into this lesser-known piece.
Fun fact: The melody of the chorus is borrowed from the second movement of Beethoven's "Sonata Pathetique."
