How dos this distinguish 日 vs 曰? Yes they are two characters, 日 means sun while 曰 means speak. The only difference in in writing is 曰 is fatter and the center stroke is not closed...

If you use a more concise translation and apply your compound word simplification rule, the translation can be shortened by about 40%.

00:34. In short, the written characters don't give any "Hint" the way to Pronounce them. And once we hear the pronounce/s'one saying (the word), ..they can have 25 meanings. (Only you will know exact meaning when you see "that" character + the sentence..!!)
