Thank you,, Isobel, it’s a somewhat true story, we used to go to garage sales every weekend… I did buy a Ler Paul guitar but it was a copy of the real thing, I wrote the song based on buying the guitar and made up the part about it being a cherished 1959 model worth thousands of dollars… I got tickled at the end and just left it on the vocal track!!! I wrote this song 20 years ago!!! Re-Wrote it again about 10 years ago…I added the phrase at end to represent celebrating buying an expensive guitar for very little money…if the guitar would have been a real Les Paul, I could not have purchased it, , way too expensive for me… lol… I hope you’re having a great day!!!😎🎵😎❤️🎶🎵😎🎶
