Lots to do, middle of the season so beach activities and markets will be open and the nightlife should be pretty active - the nights will also be cooler, I’m sure you’ll have a great time!

Most welcome, the beach water activities are at an extra charge like jet skis although do try and bargain on the costs. The swimming pool has some nice slides though plus a good kids pool.

Not something we required for visa on arrival when we visited, we flew in and out the same day. You can always try and call the airport or Oman visa services directly for certainty but I would suggest you wouldn’t need it.

Would recommend Hana Travel as someone we have used, reliable and nice spacious vehicles - also helpful if you children and need baby seats (typically booster seats and not infant ones)

@pascalfivian8461 I think this video does not give a full picture as it’s taken late in the night on a Sunday, but having seen a number of coastal locations I would say this one is not high on my list.

The WiFi is accessible dependant on your room and how far from the lobby it might be, we found in the room it would cut out at times whilst on the balcony we could not access. The pool was similar to the room although the beach has WiFi also but again limited connectivity. The lobby and near reception might be your best bet for working, we got 10mbps download and about a 10mbps upload in the lobby but a lot lower in other areas. Dependant on your type of work it would be enough to send emails, slack, join calls but downloading/uploading files could be tricky. I’d recommend purchasing a sim as back up for 4G if you want to work uninterrupted. In summary you should be able to work although don’t expect an ultra fast reliable connection and the pool/sea is great so enjoy! @mrmetemana

@escodo Thank you for the kind words! For the room we had also booked a partial sea view room although its fair to say that we did not see any of the sea from that balcony, on the flipside it did seem like the room which I showed in the video is pretty quiet at night. I did speak to other guests who mentioned they also had a partial sea view room where you could see the sea although it was pretty loud until 11PM as the entertainment comes with loud music. I would recommend calling them 7 days in advance of your stay to confirm the room will have some view of the sea and then holding them to that once you arrive on-site. For the kids club, only children above four years of age can be left without supervision and you have to sign a form. In all honesty your best bet will be one of you swimming in the sea whilst the other stays with the little one, we had a 24 month old and 4 month old with us and this seemed like the best approach. The other option is you all head into the sea together but I know that comes with its own challenges. The kids club is absolutely a highlight of this hotel so when it comes to keeping your son entertained during the day it will be helpful although it will need one of you to stay with him, secondly in the evenings they have great entertainment for little ones so I also think he will enjoy that part. Based on previous experience being there in September it was around 25-28c during the day for most the month, I would anticipate sun most of the time and a few occasional days of grey skies/rain

On the beachfront the hotel has one bar/evening music venue which is for hotel guests and provides all inclusive drinks. It also has a restaurant which is directly located in front of the beach area which is open to non hotel guests and not included in the all inclusive. Hope that helps!

Hiya there! We usually stay in Norwich when visiting as it allows us to enjoy the city and then it takes less than 30 minutes to get to a selection of different beaches. It would be great to hear about your experience once you’re back as we did consider camp sites.

Thank you! Yes they do have a playground which includes two small slides, climbing apparatus and a small play area to explore nearby the pool - it’s not that large. The kids club which is open all days apart from Saturday does have an additional soft play area, kids toys and other activities which the kids will probably find more interesting.

Random one…how deep was the pool? Also, what was the allergy labelling like?

@lillymay23 For the adult pool I was able to comfortably stand in all parts of the pool with water at shoulder level and I’m 5’10. For the kids pool our daughter is 20 months and it would be about waist level for her. From what we recall we did not see any allergy labelling, the food description was the food name and then sometimes translated into another language. They do have a good options for a vegan diet (lots of non meat options) but if it’s nut/soy allergies you’re thinking of then I’d be asking the waitress at front of the restaurant. Hope that helps and the random ones are often important!

Thanks Kevin we will certainly look to try it out on a future visit. The boat trips are certainly great and Sedir Island also known as Cleopatra’s Island is another picturesque destination we found!

@@georgehagi4703 the boat trips are amazing the trip to turtle beach is epic not to be missed the restaurant's are amazing they treat you like royalty jeep safari horse riding pumukle the marina is amazing especially at night not to be missed the old town is beautiful and definitely bring a empty suitcase because there is some amazing clothes and trainers to buy at amazing prices be ready to haggle ten to fifteen pounds for trainers ten pounds for Polo tops the bizzar is a great day out don't be intimidated the Turkish people are friendly they like to talk when you go in the shop they even offer you a cup of tea 😎👍

Hi Steven, warm during most of May with temperatures around 26 degrees celsius - we did experience one day of rain out of eight days and temperatures will move upwards in the coming weeks
