Nice man, nice story...but how about talking more about the mechanical aspects of that car?..It clearly has been modified, and from what I can see, the engine compartment has been shall we say, "enhanced"? Having owned one of these beautiful brutes, 50 years ago, I remember that while it was a blast to drive, it was not reliable...the dreaded "Prince of Darkness" British electronics was the main problem. These cars, in restored-to-originalcondition, fetch over a hundred grand now!..His vehicle might not get that much, ironically because it has been improved upon, seemingly in many ways. Still, the Austin-Healey cars are, IMO, just as pretty/sexy to look at, fun to drive, and have a wonderful exhaust note--2nd only to an XKE in performance and aggressive sounds! The OD units work on 3rd and 4th gears, giving in effect, a six-speed transmission! Amazing stuff for being such a retro designed car. The 1967 model was the last one the British decided to make...safety and emissions standards were coming on strong--as it should have--so that spelled the end for these awesomely British cars!

How was the shifter done on the tree. I have a 1970 F100 3-on-the-tree and would like to do a Gen2 Coyote with 6-speed and keep the shifter on the column. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Damn it, we support the criminal in Moscow. Putin can only be defeated if we implement an immediate energy-saving lockdown. No more private trips. Heating only at night and only one room with light and electricity, you can simply set that at the fuse box....Cities could, for example, switch off every second street light and companies could switch off their neon signs. We can initially limit driving to pure business trips and hospital trips, etc...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop driving now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My big brother (6'3) used to have a Suzuki Sidekick and it would be so fun for this thing. However, it's smaller than a two door jeep. It would also be cool to jack up a GEO , but the size issue would still be there

So jealous ! I have a 300 N/A junkyard revived a few months ago.... Just wondering, what's possibility of swapping in a newer 5.0 Coyote? I drove my friends 2020 Mustang GT around hard, and now I NEED one in my beat up Z😀 Edit: year is 1991.( if it matters)
