Exploring Philly + NYC in under 48 Hours !

me + emma took this trip a few weeks ago right before all the corona craziness kicked into high gear (praise God lol) and it was such a fun trip! we booked the plane tickets 2 days before leaving and it was SO minimally thought out but it was cheap and one of my favorite trips i've been on!
just wanted a fun way to share all of the pictures and videos we took while we were there. hopefully this satisfies a little bit of your travel bug while we're all stuck in quarantine season... hopefully we'll all be able to travel more real soon!!

thanks so much man!! It definitely dried my skin out and I got sunburn much more easily so i had to be careful! but i would definitely recommend it if you can do it

I'm panicking so much and completely freaking out and this video got my mind off of it for a bit. I'm taking calculus over the summer and things keep going wrong and i'm already behind on work but it's the summer and only one class and i'm taking 18 credit hours in the fall so I think I'm just going to panic all the time and probably fail and drop out because i'm not ready for college and yeah everything is really really awful. But, hearing some of my worries resonated with you really helped so thank you.
hey emma! i know that exact feeling and how overwhelming it is but i just finished my 3rd year of college and i'm alive to tell about it haha. it's okay to worry and think about all the scary possibilities but make sure you don't only think about those things. things are never as bad as you tell yourself they will be. 18 hours is a lot but you are fully capable. you'll have to work hard. try to figure out a set in stone study/get things done time from the beginning of the semester and hold yourself to it. but also remember to enjoy the experience. find people that you can support and that can support you. let yourself grow as a person, not just in classes. take it all in and make the most. it's gonna be difficult and it will push you but i can't wait to hear about how much it grows you when you come out on the other side. i'll be praying for you that God brings you peace and reminds you you can always lean on Him!

Aaron Michael I’ve lived in Cleveland my whole life, but I’m ready to get out of the house and move in! It’s just two days away, but it’s not coming quick enough lol
BananaBread432 oh wow that’s awesome! even living so close, getting to be kind of on your own is awesome and getting to connect with people on your floor was one of the best parts of freshman year. i’m sure the hours are going by super slow but once you get here everything is gonna go by so quick so make sure you slow down to enjoy it all!

SO... Yes I quite enjoyed this video of yours. Pretty much everything you just said is what I'm going though and probably every other freshman is going through too!! I think it's important that we understand that we aren't the only ones in these situations and that we are all in this together. What's important is that we are following our dreams and doing/working towards what makes us happy. Don't close yourself off to new experiences and take chances. This is a time for growing as a human. (: You are SO awesome for making this video!!
