I want to have a job that is fun to me, which I think it would be best if I was a TH-camr, seeing as I am usually funny to other people (or at least try to be) I want to give people something that they won't forget, something that they'll enjoy, and something that will make them want to share it with other people to bond over with.

How do you not get any likes here. This is criminal!
Quick warning: Each game in Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 has an intro sequence that is strangely skipped upon starting the game from the menu selection. The original console versions played the intro/movie before the main title screen. For Mega Man 9 & 10, let the title screen music play once, and it will restart with the intro intact. Watching the intro will clue you in on why Dr. Light is the perceived villain in this game. Mega Man 9... I did warn you that this one was more difficult, as the developers wanted to challenge long-time fans who had been playing and replaying the games in the series for 20 years and waited patiently for a new game. You will find insta-death traps everywhere. And the aesthetics in this game can be squarely attributed to the fact that the vast majority of people cite Mega Man 2 as their favorite game in the entire franchise (I'm not one of these fans, though I like the game), along with the music from that game being their favorite soundtrack (the theme to Wily Castle stages 1 & 2 is the most popular). If you see any Mega Man representation, it's usually something related to Mega Man 2. Even Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Mega Man representation is mostly from Mega Man 2 (though the Final Smash is activated by using Mega Man 9's Black Hole Bomb weapon). Mega Man 9 was the developers' way of pandering to that Mega Man 2 crowd, and it's the reason why Mega Man can't slide or use a charged Buster (again, a secret character has both of these abilities (and takes double damage), but choosing this protagonist will skip all story sequences). Its likeness to Mega Man 2 also played a big part in being received very well by fans. Most will say Mega Man 2, 3, and 9 are the best in the series. Unfortunately, for those who are fans of the non-NES-like games, they'd have to wait until Mega Man 11. About the items: You can go without the Roll costume entirely. It's not needed, and it's only there so that Roll resembles what she looks like in the previous game (Mega Man 8). Also, the Book of Hairstyles was poorly described. Mega Man can remove his helmet for a different look, but he also takes more damage from enemies when hit. If you die at all, his helmet will return and remain equipped for the rest of the level until you purchase the item again.
Havent watched yet, but this video has to be a reminder that i was going to replay this game for 100%
Lol, they really shouldn't allow for you to easily skip the credits in Mega Man 8. You're the second person I've seen on TH-cam recently do this by mistake. Either way, congrats on finishing the game! You did better than I did when I tried to pass through Wily Fortress for the first time years ago! Now for a huge wall-o-text: The English voice acting in Mega Man 8 is infamous for obvious reasons, so much that it's iconic now. Dr. Light's voice actor was the worst of the bunch, considering how he twice stumbled over his lines and provided a weird Elmer Fudd-like tone to the character. If you've ever seen anyone say "DOCTAH WAHWEE" anywhere, it's because of this game here. And if you thought Mega Man's voice actress didn't fit very well, then you should know she went on to voice Mega Man X in the game Mega Man X4, which was just as infamous for its voice acting as Mega Man 8 ("WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRR?!?!"). While the voice acting for both games ended up being panned originally, fans kind of fondly remember the voice acting now. On the other hand, the Japanese voices are much more fitting and near universally praised in both cases. Mega Man 8 is a fun game, though it usually ranks lowly on most fans' lists. A lot of the criticisms are picky towards the game, though there are definitely some valid ones ("Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!"). The game almost didn't exist on PlayStation in North America due to Sony's meddling with Capcom, only wanting 3D games as that was the new standard back then. Sony's executives changed their minds once it was learned that the PlayStation's competitor, the SEGA Saturn, would be getting this game. To steal away sales, Sony wanted exclusive content for the PlayStation version (such as a full-color anthology book, one that was strangely missing from many copies even though advertised on the case). However, the SEGA Saturn version got the better end of the deal by including an alternate BGM for one stage, extra content, and two additional Robot Masters to fight with, Cut Man (found in the stage where Duo is fought) and Wood Man (found in a secret area at Search Man's stage). Winning against them will grant you a bolt for each battle. Unfortunately, since the SEGA Saturn was very difficult to run through emulators, this version has never been re-released in any capacity. Only the PlayStation version would be included in collections such as this Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. There are two other games directly influenced by Mega Man 8's story, the first being the arcade game Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, and the second being Mega Man & Bass, a side-sequel game originally exclusive to the SNES in Japan but later available worldwide on the Game Boy Advance. You can currently purchase the arcade game (and its prequel game) digitally, but there are no current methods to purchase Mega Man & Bass digitally anymore (the Wii U eShop has since been shut down), and it's been excluded from most Mega Man collections for some odd reason. Owning the game will be more difficult and expensive. If you move on to Mega Man 9, be prepared for a jump backwards to the 8-bit NES style due to years of inactivity in the series until its release date. By design, Mega Man 9 looks, sounds, and plays like an NES game, but it is in no way a real NES game. Heavily inspired by the [former] best-selling Mega Man 2, and to a lesser degree the other NES games, you'll find a lot of familiar things when you play the game, especially in the case of some music tracks, all done for long-time fans. However, this game can be much more difficult than the former in many ways, as it expects you to know the series pretty well by the time you experience it. Also, because of its inspiration, the developers unfortunately removed Mega Man's ability to slide and fire charged shots. It's back to basics with Mega Man, controlling much like he did in the first two games. However, this game does have a secret character who retains the slide and charge shot abilities, but at the cost of taking more damage from hits. (Originally, this character was unlocked by purchasing DLC. In Legacy Collection 2, you'll instead need to enter a code to unlock the character.)
@@Linker2A03 Cool! I also didn’t even realize that I had skipped the credits, I just thought that for some reason there was none.
Didnt this game come out like, 3 years ago?
@@KameradenReal It came out 4 years ago
Unlike every other Mega Man game that featured the bolt currency system, there's a finite amount of bolts to collect in this game. In addition, the total amount of bolts to collect is less than the total bolt spending cost for receiving all upgrades, meaning you can never get every upgrade listed in a single play through of Mega Man 8. Choose carefully which upgrade you need Roll to build for you, because you will have to forego a few of them. (This was probably done for replay value.) The Mega Ball has an additional ability. Aside from kicking the Mega Ball (action is done by pressing the same button used to place one), Mega Man can jump from one in midair. This is popular with speedrunners. Sliding into the Mega Ball is another way to attack with it, but you are meant to kick it. The very first boss in this game's intro stage is very weak to attacks from the Mega Ball. If my memory is correct, you can still fire from the Mega Buster with a Special Weapon equipped by using another button. Also, using the shoulder buttons will allow you to cycle through the Special Weapons without needing to visit the start menu.

I tried, but I can’t give your video a like for whatever reason (“The caller does not have permission” glitch is happening). So… The Wily Capsule fight in Mega Man 7 is notoriously difficult, with nearly every fan agreeing that it’s the most difficult last Boss fight in the whole franchise. Back when Nintendo’s Miiverse was around, I posted a strategy to help people win, which involves using Thunder Bolt to keep him from using the elemental orbs attack. The Capsule gets overloaded with electricity, which forces Wily to get rid of it with an energy blast each time (the attack that travels on the ground). I can’t remember whether it’s before or after using Thunder Bolt, but you have to attack him with a different weapon before to actually damage him further. Wild Coil, specifically a charged-up version, is considered his greater weakness. There’s a reason this particular Wily Capsule was granted Assist Trophy status in Super Smash Bros., and I’m sure you’re aware of that reason now. 😂 There are also a few more items to collect in this game, such as: -Beat (requires a rescue from Slash Man’s stage before use). Unlike the previous two games, he now has the ability to save you from falling into bottomless pits. However, he no longer attacks enemies. -Super Mega Man upgrade (Hyper Rocket Buster). This allows you to punch at a further distance with homing capabilities. Found in Turbo Man’s stage with Rush Search, or obtained from Auto after providing the Hyper Bolt. Bass and Treble are using a form of this attack, and it’s all because of the stolen plans for Super Adaptor. -Proto Man’s Shield. After meeting him in a certain sequence of appearances, he will challenge you to a duel. If you win, he will give you his own shield to use for the rest of the game. -Hyper Bolt. This is only useful for Auto. Return it to him after finding it in Spring Man’s stage, and he will create items more efficiently for a lower cost of regular bolts. There are even more items than these listed. About the ending… I won’t say anything more than Mega Man considers breaking the Laws of Robotics. Lol, after that Wily Capsule fight, who wouldn’t?
I’ll try to get the Hyper Bolt and stock up on some items to take Wily on again and again until I beat him, no matter how many hours it takes me.
You might be surprised to know that this game was developed quickly due to bad scheduling …. As in THREE MONTHS. Capcom’s development team only had about three months to finish this entire game. All things considered, they did outstanding work. A few things to note: 1. There was a sequence before the title screen that tells the story of both the ending of Mega Man 6 and the beginning of Mega Man 7. For whatever reason, Legacy Collection 2 doesn’t play it at first, only after the demo plays will it work as intended. 2. There are a ton of secrets in this game. Both Dr. Light and Proto Man gave you hints on how to use your special weapons in stages to reveal secret pathways. For example, in Junk Man’s stage, there are two places where Freeze Cracker and Thunder Bolt are useful. 3. The RUSH letter plates in this game will reward Mega Man with a new armor, and its concept is significant to the story of this game (but not necessary to collect to finish the game).
Why can't we comment in most of your videos now?
Comments should be turned on for all of my videos except for my "Garfield Clips So Funny They Ought To Be Memes" series.
I meant to comment at the end of your Mega Man 5 video to warn you about what to expect in Mega Man 6. Mega Man 3 had weird issues with inputs not working, and Mega Man 6 is even worse as you found out. You also can't cancel your sliding ability quickly. When the game gets to the Mr. X stages, it's also going to require you to switch back and forth between Rush armors in different locations, which means going to the start menu and equipping said armor needed to progress (thankfully, you can skip the transformation sequence). This game also introduces alternate pathways that lead to collecting hidden items after defeating the correct boss (the boss battles are the same, however). There are four alternate routes in total, and you've already found two of the alternate/correct pathways in the boss stages (Yamato Man and Centaur Man). There are still two left behind that require Jet Mega Man and Power Mega Man's abilities (Tomahawk Man and Knight Man) to find the correct end to the stage. If you want, you can revisit the two Boss stages that are not yet finished to collect the last two BEAT plates. Those breakable and cracked blocks you've seen in some stages are for Power Mega Man to destroy. A certain character is also [ very well ] hidden within Tomahawk Man's stage and provides a secret item. You'll need a Rush armor to get to his location. Here are the full names for the Special Weapons (because Capcom didn't do so well writing them out consistently): Plant Barrier Silver Tomahawk Yamato Spear Flame Blast Wind Storm Knight Crush Blizzard Attack Centaur Flash

OK, just to help you a bit more as this is more of the helpful comment. I recommend only use the hyper sprinkles on your damage dealers. using it on healers is basically useless because they’re supposed to heal you and also ones that use magic do a lot of damage anyways so I recommend only do damage dealers. and here’s another thing to help you out the flower is one of the worst in the game. I recommend to go check tier lists of it.
I'll probably try to get the Hyper Bolt so I can stock up on some items to try and beat Wily, no matter how many hours it will take me.

Kaos look like a big baby
Lol, they didn't name Stone Man "Rock Man" because Mega Man's original name in Japan is already Rockman, as in the music genre of Rock. Quite a few characters are named after something music-related. The helper girl robot seen at the end of the first, third, and fourth game, Roll, is named in tandem with the main character's name Rock (Rock and Roll), Proto Man's name in Japan is Blues, and there are even more. As you've noticed, the charged shot in this game is really powerful. Don't get used to it, because it gets slightly nerfed after this game. Also, due to weird RNG programming, this game hands out extra lives almost for free. You've collected two of the letter plates I talked about earlier. If you plan to collect them all to unlock the helper robot bird (Beat), you'll need to revisit Stone Man's stage to get the one you missed. It's very well hidden, unlike the other seven plates.
Can you make the scientist one puff shroom from pvz pls? Thanks
I will not change or get rid of Walter, but I’ll see what I can do.
@@azazpid771 I ment for the quest lol
Oh sure!
With that, Mega Man 4 is finished. While this game is mechanically well made, I can understand placing the other Mega Man games higher than it for reasons you mentioned. For example: -Regardless of the story introduction, little is told about the game itself, and necessary maneuvers needed to finish the game. I had mentioned earlier that the Pharaoh Shot can be charged, but I failed to mention the Drill Bomb's ability to detonate before collision. -Enemy and hazard placement is kind of unfair at times, usually set up for Mega Man to take damage easily. You can clear the game without taking damage, but this requires perfect precision. -All Robot Masters can decimate Mega Man if they collide with him in this game. A total of 8 health points are taken away out of a max of 28. Now, for things not explained story-wise, and for things missed: As explained earlier, Dr. Wily was presumed dead at the conclusion of Mega Man 3 (though if you keep an eye on the top of the tree during the epilogue cutscene in that game, you'll see the Wily Capsule rest on the tree. A dead giveaway that Wily survived). Dr. Cossack was used as a puppet for Dr. Wily's crimes in this game as his daughter Kalinka was kidnapped for leverage. However, Proto Man finally realized that he could not continue working for the evil Dr. Wily, even though Wily did maintain the critical issue in his robotic systems. At the cost of someday facing critical system failure and dying alone due to choosing to forego regular maintenance and temporary repair, he rescues Kalinka, returns her to her father, and leaves. It is unknown where he is at this point and his refusal to let Dr. Light properly repair him creates a self-imposed rift. Does Proto Man truly despise Dr. Light, his creator? Mega Man 5 may answer this. Dr. Wily, as you saw, was forced to appear again as he tells Mega Man of his schemes, but it is never explained how he was able to teleport by himself into the room like a robot. He's totally human, and it doesn't make sense. Dr. Cossack, once again, returns to being a good guy after the events of this game. While he's not seen again in person in the mainline games, he does have a part in creating a new helper robot bird for Mega Man in the next game named Beat (he can be obtained by collecting the letter plate in each Robot Master's stage. Though he's not needed to finish the game, Beat is very useful, and especially so at the final boss). - Now, for what you missed in-game: -When fighting the second whale mid-boss in Dive Man's stage, immediately after the fight in the next screen is what looks to be a bottomless pit. However, this is actually a secret passageway that leads to the second item Mega Man can collect, the Wire. It allows him to latch onto the ceiling and shoot, and also helps him get to difficult to reach areas, similar to the Balloon. You don't need either one of these to finish the game, but it's helpful to collect. -Bright Man's Flash Stopper attack is unavoidable once activated by him. But there is a way to keep him from doing so: When his health points reach the 16th, 8th, and 4th increment, he will use the attack. If you can deplete his health and skip these increments, he will never use the attack at all!
If you wanna get better I suggest watching bread and butter combo videos and trying them out in training mode. Versing level 1 cpu doesn’t really teach much
The premise of the challenge is to start at level 1 and end at level 9, this teaches the player to learn the character and “do it better” than the cpu. I’ve decided not to pick him up since his playing style and move set aren’t really for me, but thanks for the tip.
Nice video! Bright Man is a real pain with that ability to stop time, as you found out. Quick question: Are you cool with me leaving hints and trivia on your videos? I don't want to spoil the game, of course, but I wasn't sure if you wanted a totally blind playthrough of the game without me saying anything.
I don’t have a problem with it, as long as you don’t spoil anything that I haven’t covered.
