Cruise Day 13 aboard Arvia. Heading for home.
Do you have the choice of not sitting with others at dinner?
Really enjoyed your video thank you. I am booked on that very same excursion for this September, roughly how long do you get to spend in Portofino
Hi, really enjoyed your video. Would you recommend the little train for a family with teenagers or just genetally? Also probably a silly question but wondered what information you need to get back on the ship after a port day? Passport? Boarding pass?
With these being grab and go can you ask for them the be plan ?
He Sings from the Heart.
I agree selfish people
Could you go to the nou Camp stadium
What is the church at the 9:50 time mark?
Sailing in the right oceans, with the right ships, or liners, and the right roots, is the way, even if sometimes it takes us at first slightly across a longer journey, but will be worthwhile and better as a result. And better than waiting for the right time. The times are only going to get more difficult.. 🔥🌪️💥🌪️🔥🌪️ 🔥🔊🙏🏻,✍🏻🔥 🔊🌍🌎🌏🤍🏝️🚣🏻🌊🥟🧭🛥️🚤⛴️🚢🛳️🚢🗻🗾🗺️⛩️ 🈯🛕,🛫🗿🏙️🗽✈️✅: ↗️🔹or ↙️↩️🌍 and then ↖️🔝🆙🌐🌏 🛫🧳⛳🖼️ ✅🔹

Really enjoyed, we are on this video so memorable for us thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it
Such picturesque towns!
They were beautiful and very picturesque. 👍
A lovely end to this holiday and it was good to see people making the most of the sun chairs! I thought the guy in the jacuzzi was the best. Nice looking food again. Cheers for putting this together :)
Glad you enjoyed it. One final wrap up video then the journey is over. 👍
Quite an impressive ship! But honestly the only way I'll ever experience a cruise is through the lens of a camera. It looks like you guys gave yourselves an amazing vacation. I'm looking forward to seeing the videos of the ports that you visited.
Thank you Susan. In part this project was to allow viewers to experience the cruise trip along with us. Some great port stops and excursions along the way: Portofino, Italy, Marseille and the little train, Barcelona and monastery at Montserrat, and Cádiz. Enjoy 👍
Well captured. I remember many days standing watches on the bridge with limited or no visibility. Doesn't matter what the radar says your mind is always expecting something else to appear :)
First time I have experienced it. It was certainly very eerie and otherworldly. 👍
Another well put together video of your adventures. I am still feeling the sea motion from my ferry crossing last night. A very weird feeling :}
It took me a day or so to lose that ever so subtle pitching and rolling from the cruise ship after coming home. Definitely know what you mean. 👍 Glad you both made it back safely, though you brought the weather with you 😆
Great video. Look forward to seeing more.
Thank you! Plenty more now available.
I'm really enoying this series Jason. Itd a shame that the hiloday is coming to an end but you've immortalised it with TH-cam and memories now.
Thanks Alex. Great nostalgia for us, and a pleasure to share the experience and inspire others.
An incredible days of calm seas - wonderful
Thanks Xav
Such an impressive place to visit and I still have memories of my trip to the monastery and asking for intercessions from the Blessed Madonna. The statues lining the edge of the plaza were so impressive - especially against that backdrop of mountains :)
Such a fantastic place. I wasn’t expecting such a vast complex (almost a small town) at the top of the mountain. The whole place was beautiful, incredibly impressive and the views stunning. 👍
The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona was also a fantastic building - like the architecture of a madman - so organic and looks like a collection of enormous termite mounds from the outside!!!
Shame you missed out the thought of the day
I didn’t alway manage to catch it 😀
The views from that Catherdral were breathtaking. More great footage as well. Cheers
Thanks Xav. That trip on Le Petit Train Touristique was a lot of fun. Not sure I would have wanted to walk up there!!!
May I ask on which deck/whereabouts are the oversized rattan cushioned seats, as look ideal 😉
Hi, these were on the Promenade deck 8, perhaps about 2/3 of the way back - possibly outside Green & Co restaurant.
Thank you. Will search for them next year (and reserve all day 🤣🤣 - only joking)
@@cjc6833 🥹😆😆
May I ask if you had the drinks package and if you felt it was worth it?
We decided against the drinks package. We did the maths and thought we would probably slightly overpay.
An incredible church and that seafood platter looked pretty nice as well. All looking like great fun :)
One of my favourite days of the cruise. Along with the next two days in Marseille and Barcelona 🤗
I think you should be able to take the towels off the recliners. X
Totally agree Jackie. Officially staff can remove towels and personal effects left unattended for over thirty minutes, but probably do not rigorously enforce it. It’s such a selfish and self entitled thing to do.
❤
Thank you 🙏
You summed up those self-entitled tourists perfectly my friend! i spat my coco pops all over the screen too. It is amazing how coincidences keep happening. I had a very similar experience once in The Falklands of all places. Another interesting video, Thanks
Sorry about your coco-pops. Thanks Xav.
Very nice reportage. We (My better half and I) love to cruise. M/S Arvia seems to be a very nice ship. Were there predominantly British passengers on board? Adam, Stockholm Sweden
Hi Adam, it was a lovely ship and a great cruise holiday experience. Most of the passengers seemed to be British as far as so could tell. I thought I heard a couple of Germanic conversations but didn’t identify the specific language.
Definitely enjoyed the caves - stunning. Another great day on holiday :)
One of my favourite days. That, Portofino, and Mont Serrat coming shortly. 👍
We're eagerly awaiting part 7 and the rest of this trip! 😀
Thank you. 👍
Not sure about the cabins being on a par with a Premier Inn, I must have stayed at the bad ones!
😆
Loved the cabaret and David doing a walking twirl in front of the camera :)
I’m surprised he didn’t fall over 😆
Another lovely holiday interlude to cheer me up whilst I stare out at the rain hammering onto the beach. At least I have a seal watching out for me now :)
😀
That captain was very calm about the whole "man overboard" situation
😂
I'm thoroughly enjoying this holiday vlog, Jason! I'm afraid that you'll have to go on more cruises and record them 😂 it was great to see more of David and his humour!
Thanks. Still more to come Alex. Next up, Lee Mead’s Life Boat!!! Fortunately by this stage I was partially editing and assembling the video as I went, so mostly ready - just needs a bit of my best Judith Chalmers voice over (since I didn’t have a mic with me), and some stirring music. Enjoy 😊
Ps. Open to any cruise holiday offers anyone might want to make 🛳️🍹
Great video, we really enjoyed seeing Arvia as we haven't made it onboard her yet!
Thank you. Hopefully you will get your opportunity.
Another interesting glimpse of the sights of Spain and the food onboard. Thanks for this Jason
My pleasure Xavier 🙏
That intro is brilliant
Thank you Xavier 🙏
Navy life without the need of working! Enjoying the trip with you
Glad to hear it. That’s my intention. Enjoy 🙏
I really enjoyed the relaxed approach to sharing Day 1 of your trip. That thunderstorm at the end was impressive 🎉
Sure made for a convenient ending to day 1. I believe Jonas and Dan were talking about it in the bonsai group chat. I didn’t expect we would witness it from sea.
These videos are seriously making me want to go on a cruise! Brilliant stuff mate
Cheers Alex. I’m hoping to give viewers the experience of having done a cruise holiday.
That was brilliant Jason! I really enjoyed it
Thanks Alex. That’s the difficult first one out of the way. Subsequent days will follow shortly 👍
Would be a good idea to call in at Lisbon on the way back. Feels like an anticlimax after Cadiz. 2 days at sea and it's all over ( apart for an 9 hors coach ride for some of us)
You will have to make the suggestion to the cruise company David.
Absolutely perfect Jason. So when do we do the bonsai cruis collaboration video :)
As soon as P&O offer another free cruise?
It looks brilliant Jason!
Thanks Alex
A great place to holiday :)
Yes it was! And straight off the ship into the centre of the old town.
Som elovely footage
Good teasers but I am definitely looking forward to some chat as well Jason :)
There will be some of that and commentary.
What a wonderful place! Some brilliant shots here mate
Thanks Alex. More of the same to come shortly, once I get myself organised 🤗
