Absolutely amazing product and I fully recommend it. I am using it on my EMTB in combination with Rockshox Judy and this is solving all kind of bumps you can imagine. It is very good for high frequency bumps
Hello, I'm new to the ebike scene, can you please give me some info on what what cable/kit do I need to buy in order to perform this? I have a Bafang М410, mid drive, 250W with a Bafang DPC18 LCD display.
Hey, I need account from Vafang company or can I create own dealer account?
@@Adaszlubonia you should ask your supplier for their login. What breed of bike do you have?
Just bought one for my gravel bike. Do you feel it is safe on a carbon steerer. Since my bike is carbon and this is pretty hefty. Just wondering what you think Thanks for posting.
What is the difference between P860c and 860c displays?
was that done on sunday saw that motorbike group going to sunmer
yes it was on Sunday
How is your bike going ?
Wiah i got this one
Did you get a satisfactory resolution to this issue? Im looking into doing this build also, cheers
we got a new motor and removed the stator from it and replaced the stator in the old motor
@@BuzzBikes thanks for the reply, looking forward to seeing more!
Hi, wich ebike overtakes the other ? Bafang M620 or Truckrun M09 ? Max speed for each ? Thanks
@@Chris-TC neck and neck
Hi how many cables are coming from your display? Ive got the display on my bike but one cable is fine the green round one when u look inside the cabe with 5 holes thats the standard cable that goes to your controller but the second cable hss been missing i have all the wires i just want to know is it just switch button cable or does that cable split again for brakes or throttle etc
Bafang BBSHD programming cable works on Truckrun M09 if someone have wondered
Great video...
I did order also base on your review. Did you find any replacement of spare springs?
There is nothing really wrong with the springs. It needs some sort of dampener for the deflection end, but for its price its the best buy.
Is this the m620 unit from the _Just Enjoying Life_ video, where the owner didn't like the (uncalibrated) torque response, so they rode it all around a flooded lake & then never posted about it again?
In my gravel bike, when I'm working, it makes a knocking sound at its maximum deflections. There are no rubber bumpers to muffle the metal-on-metal sounds. I need to make some rubber bumpers: one at the bottom and two at the top on the sides. Other than that, this suspension stem is great. It really suppresses unevenness very well. I bought this product based on your video, among other things :)
How is it going on for yours? Initially had used the blue spring. It functions well in terms of reducing handlebars jarring. However, I was annoyed by the knocking sound, and the loss of some steering control. After a number of experiments, I came to this solution as the best for me: - cover the red spring with heat-shrink tube, overlapping the springs top and bottom, coat it with grease - insert two rubber washers directly under the top hex key mounting plate and tighten only halfway to reduce pre-tension - lower the handlebars 2 - 3 cm to put more weight onto the front This reduced the knocking by 80% under maintaining full handlebar control and relevant jarring reduction. This product is a winner for its price, but best would be some silicon dampener at the deflection end.
Mega supper🎉

how are u gunna play the not explicit version
worst display ever, I let the bike out in the rain now the display won’t turn on

@@BuzzBikes Is it safe to use the password function without worrying that it suddenly can stop working even if u type in the right password? Thnx in advance ^^
Them displays have a verygood water resistant but like all screens unless u go around it with sealant what do u expect, there is hope tho if u still have it and not to badly corroded now but theres a lil watch battery in them id advise u to bring it to someone who knows what hes doin to see if the battery terminals can be cleaned if not broke and new battery and it'll be fine once thats all wont inow until a proper person opens and checks
Thats a good-looking cycle path, how long is it.
this part (The heathcote express) not too far, like 10km but it joins up with many more
haha there keen
Thats Crazay Dave
what are the batteries like on your bikes how much range do you get on full power
the bikes in this video (Forest Hunter double battery and Renegade) The Forest Hunter has total 31.5ah 48v and the Renegade has 30ah 48v. To do a range test like that would need to be on the road because its pretty hard to ride full power on the tracks and the path ways for too long
Im having issues unlocking it with the "key"...doesnt work
Am I really online one, who gets unlock after key swipe one times per 150 tries?
looks just like biktrix bike.
Same same
Do you know anything more? is 48V voltage dangerous and was the main culprit of the problem? I'm going to build a battery for myself soon and I don't know whether to make a 43V or 48V one?
it is the Amps that kill
Buongiorno, sono in vendita queste bike
Not a lot of pedaling from what I can see
Connected to overheating. I dont understand why bafang does not have temperature safety now for ages. Also missing on M510 and M600. Had to implement temperature safety in K1 BBR. And boy, m600 getting 125 degree C in 7 minutes.
BBSHD even has temperature safety and will go into limp mode
@@BuzzBikes Also dont get it, it has a temp sensor in winding, but no power decreesing when it is hot. Got to 132 degree C on M600!
Errr? Maybe should not use ebike if overheating is concern
Not having a good year as #2 is done!
How many kilometers did You do in total with this engine? What voltage is Your battery (V)?
61km 48v
@@BuzzBikes Oh shit, I'm also doing the same configuration on a 48V pack. It's a bit scary that it fails so quickly - although I haven't seen any other such cases on the forums.
@@TheLekkir maybe it's just my bad luck 🤣
Hello I ordered for my wife markhor frame with m600 But I wanna to order another one for myself and I cannot decide between m600 and m820 Could you compare m820 and m600 on your usual tracks?, I think it will be more interesting have 2 different bikes in garage(we’ve got Scott’s with Bosh Cx so far) but I have one bbs02 as well and I fall in love with BAFANG Bosh are boring 😂
sure, what sort of riding are you planning on ? does your wife ride the same, less or harder than you ?
Hello And ideas what’s wrong with motor ?
Yes opened it up today and its a faulty phase winding
surely this defeats the whole point of the product.its for non suspension bikes to absorb shocks into the hands.surely the suspension forks already do this.
it makes the riding experience very plush. Like a suspension seat post in a full suspension bike
Cost? $4K?
Which currency?

Can the stem be locked?
Come si modifica la velocità? Is a possible change the speed up to 25 km/h ????
yes
@@BuzzBikescome si fa??? Su fantic issimo motore bafang m500(stesso display attacco CAN) se cambio display con un 600c si può sbloccare da display (su 600c ) si può aggiungere un acceleratore???
I have the same lcd from truckrun, i changed settigns and have lost pedal assist...
I like hearing the difference the best, very helpful this video was for that. That Ultra is way noisier which is not cool for an electric bike IMO. I was hoping to get a nice new bike but I might actually get the BBSHD and put it on my older full suspension bike.
Consider the M600 or M560. Bbshd is still cool 😎
These reduce the high frequency chatter, that forks cannot react to. They help with arm fatigue.
holes in the frame, fit Bafang M620?
NO!
I thought they were compatible are you sure @@IslandFilmMaker
I've got one of these on a Surly Bridge Club and really like it on a bit of rocky or gravel stuff but don't see much point on the road
I envy you! You apparently live where roads are made of glass, out my way, they're full of differential cracks, potholes, frost separation cracks. This suspension stem is a godsend!
Its pointless to put it with a suspension fork, you just adding 1lb to your bike.
What could be done to give this bike a faster top end? Looks like the gearing could use less teeth, maybe a 40 or 42?
Seems simple and easy to maintenance. Im an user of this motor and im very glad to see teardown of it. Do you know if there is some way to program it? In example to lift current limit? Also maybe you know how to make it run on 60v battery as the truckrun brands it? I asked them about it and they said that the motor needs a different controller, im not sure if thats true.
Agreed, I haven't seen any off brand Controllers for the M09 yet but I'd bet you could push it to 60v easily. The shipment that had my bike in it was stollen. The next shipment of bikes won't have the M09. Instead the motor bracket has been redesigned and they will come with a brand new Bafang 1500W 52v 32A motor and completely new (CAN) controller. So I will miss out on the M09 motor this time round. I haven't liked the motor maintenance on Bafang but hoping this new one will be different.
@@IslandFilmMaker The controller looks very similar to a BBSHD controller and is made by the same company that makes the BBSHD controller. Also everyone at TruckRun formally worked at Bafang. My only concern is that the controller is located internally where there is more heat rather than on the outside
The motor seems good! Well designed and a gearbox that's not swimming in grease like the Bafang M620. The TruckRun M09 looks like very low maintenance as long as it's not dead as this seems. Thx for sharing this update.
It would be interesting to have a follow up clip, informing what the fault was
Yes - suspecting it was controller, nothing else wrong when we did the pull down. Just uploaded now.
is there maybe a faster way to set the speed limit to 25km/h when you are riding?
Wow, I guess the good news was you were at the TOP, not having to climb that hill to get home. Do you think Bafang is a better choice, or is this new more powerful Truckrun motor faulty?
Will be interesting to see what works out better.
