The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is an initiative of the Queensland Government aimed at supporting the State's elite and identified developing athletes.
Queensland's future Para champions test their skills | YouFor2032
From Townsville to the Gold Coast, future champs travelled far and wide to put their skills to the test at the YouFor2032 Para Talent Search.
In partnership with the Australian Institute of Sport and Paralympics Australia, the QAS helped more than 30 athletes push their limits and step outside their comfort zone to see if they have what it takes to be future Para sport star.
Thanks to these athletes for bringing the energy and to Paralympians Korey Boddington, Taymon Kenton-Smith and Tim Matthews for helping to inspire the next generation.

New centre of excellence to accelerate cycling ahead of Brisbane 2032

A national cycling Centre of Excellence will be established in Brisbane as Queensland gears up to host the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. AusCycling’s Action and Acceleration Centre of Excellence will see the national Track Sprint and BMX Racing programs located at the Sleeman Sports Complex and supported by the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS).
