Indeed like their tractors bombproof. Great pity they stopped. There was a new development S980 but that project was stopped because they sold out to Claas. The S950 was also sold in Canada (COOP) also in a pulled type version. Great machines with a beautiful exhaust note.

Thanks BlueBear I used the DJI Mavic 3 Pro and then processed the footage in Davinci Resolve Studio 18. On the day I think I was using a Freewell no. 8ND filter

@@richiejp2965 The Mavic 3 Pro is definitely the top drone, a little over my budget though. I have the Mini 3 currently and was thinking of going either for the Air 3 or Mini 4 Pro, both have their advantages/disadvantages. I’m leaning much more towards the Air 3 due to it managing wind better. One thing I’ve noticed over the Winter is I’ve been very restricted at flying at certain times where I’ve wanted to due to high winds. What would you recommend?

@BlueBear904 I originally started off with the Mini 2 and it was a cracking drone, upgraded to the Air2S and now just have the Mavic 3 Pro and Mini 3 Pro which I use if I'm on holiday with the family as it is so small, light and easy to carry about. I think the Air 3 is an amazing drone and to be fair if it was out when I bought the Mavic 3 Pro I would most probably have bought it and saved a few pounds. I'm not a fan of the 7x telephoto on the Mavic 3 Pro the video just isn't the same as the normal and 3x in my opinion and stands out a mile when editing. If you have the mini 3 I wouldn't personally bother with Mini 4 Pro as there aren't massive differences. One thing I wouldn't be without now is either of the controllers with the built in screens, I have the RC Pro paired with the Mavic and the RC with the Mini 3 Pro. My favourite drone to fly was always the Air2s and I know until recently that was the drone Malc was using for his videos. I think you couldn't got far wrong with the Air 3 but I would think that at some point DJI will bring out the Air 3 S. I hope this helped in some way 😊

I’m super glad I paid the extra money for the built in screen controller, anywhere you go you’re ready to fly within minutes of arriving with is very suitable for me. I think I’ll be going for the Air 3, not sure whether I will keep the Mini 3 or not, quite tempted to sell it and just stay with the Air 3 but time will tell. Thank you very much!!!

It was a bit sticky but to be fair I put the drone up when they were in the worst bit (late getting there so missed the best bit) the rest of the field wasn't as bad, the headlands are always the worst. Hopefully the water will drain away now

Hi Malc it certainly is still wet up in the North West everyone is struggling to get stuff in the ground, it's due to rain again tomorrow. So the few dry days we've had might be wiped out. The weather the back end of last year and the start of this has been dismal.

Where abouts is the farm located? She pops out with us from time to time, so does my son but there not from a farming back ground so not as interested unfortunately. They did both like having a go of the 750 though so fingers crossed.

Cheers Ewan. You would get a fair few acres knocked off with them, its finally starting to dry up a bit looking forward to getting out and about again pretty much up to date now with my video editing, just got an JD 8370RT and 4.5m Sumo left to do I think.

Cheers Malc. Ye Big T doesn't hang about not sure how many acres he did that day but it was a fair bit, the John Deere was walking away with the 5 furrow.

Thanks mate. I'm well behind on my editing been a hectic few months. I've been really impressed with it the medium telephoto can get some cracking shots and give a different perspective.

@@richiejp2965 How much did you end up paying for your Mavic 3 Pro as I currently have a Air 2S so always weighing up options to upgrade

I think it was £1,880 with the DJI RC controller and 1 battery. I had the original Mavic 3, RC Pro controller which I sold to get the Pro. I think the new Mavic 3 Air is a good buy as it has the 2 main cameras that I tend to use on the 3 Pro and is cheaper. I don't tend to use the big telephoto unless taking pictures as I don't think the video is as good. The Air 2S is a cracking drone I had that before the Mavic 3 was my favourite to fly, don't know why always seemed smoother some how.

@@richiejp2965 The Air 3 was the second option I looked at tbf besides the 3 Pro but I was just sure I mean I might heavily consider if the quality of footage is similar on the two cameras to the 3 Pro

Ye I was impressed with the Ideal it is a smart looking machine, the ground was saturated so they were both sinking in a fair bit in places.

I wasn't going to mention anything about the "cab corn" and unfortunately I'm not at the video editing stage where I could have Photoshop'd it out for you . Cheers Malc it came out pretty well considering it was a pretty dismal day weather wise, still not 100% happy with the camera settings on the mavic 3 pro but loving the 3x telephoto camera, still love flying the Air2S though.

Ye I saw this one working down in Lincolnshire when I was on holiday everyone was out in force unfortunately this was the only footage I got as the other half and kids don't have the same appreciation/like for agricultural machinery as me. Saw a 780 and 8900 but still no X9's took a run past Wardy's yard to see if the 8RX 410 was out.

Thanks Malc ye I've been out and about trying to get some more content in between the never ending rain. It is incredibly flat and low laying land running along the Ribble Estuary, its about 30 mins from me so fairly close. Martin has not long taken delivery of the John Deere T560i, so it is its first season was still looking all shiny along with the brand new 6250R. The weather has been dreadful this year everyone seems to be behind A Johnson's were cutting till 4am on Friday night till they got rained off again the 750tt did 113 acres in the day.

Any of the DJI drones are fantastic. I started with the mini 2 originally and now tend to use either the Air 2S or the Mavic 3 but you can get fantastic images/video with the mini 3 pro.

Thanks Sam I was very happy with the way this video came out. Ye the area it was filmed in was originally a mere so the soil is very sandy/mossy
