Well initially for the TeknoParrot Emulator there was a special .exe file out there that you ran first to do this that I got from somewhere back in 2020 although in more recent versions of TeknoParrot it has been possible to simply tick an option to do that in a box within the Game Settings for the game within the TeknoParrot main menu system

@ great thanks for that. I’ve recently updated my Teknoparrot so I’ll check to see if that option is there now

@@TheShedcade I’ve just downloaded the very latest Teknoparrot and I can’t see an option anywhere for the dome fix, what should I be looking for or where can I download the fix. Thanks for your help on this

@@RetroRicc OK when you say `dome fix` I assume that you want the curved dome effect of the screen gone and for it to display in 1080p flatscreen instead ? actually looking at my Tek Parrot ver 1.0.0.804 it was automatic then, pointed to RSLauncher.exe as the games executable

The Modern Versions are all from Modern Arcade Cabinets which are based on PC Architecture and can be run/emulated on a modern PC via the TeknoParrot Emulator

Yup that`s the full on experience of course and I have a lightgun that kind of works although I`ve had issues with it`s tracking on screen and so I am using a trackball and buttons here to play instead, cheers

Kind of I guess although it`s defo more insane than GTA as quickfire Arcade games tend to be steeped in more insanity ha ha

Cheers Pete. I have an innovation on some of my cabinets. I call it `The Peripheral Board` which juts out and can fold down or be detached from the main machine if required. It is covered with velcro and I can attach special peripherals to it quickly and easily when required e.g Steering Wheels, Flight Sticks, Big Trackball, Streamdeck oled button interface. I got the idea from Guitar pedal boards as I have a few of those myself. I will make a feature video of this at some point along with some other feature videos on what I have built so far and how I do that and although this channel is brand new as of a couple of weeks ago since 2020 I did at least taken lots of pictures of things as I was building them just in case so I will be able to make a slideshow type of video to those things with a little bit of actual video in too innit. That was the Guy that the excellent film Gran Turismo was based on I think and he was even the stuntman for the Actor who played him too !

Ah, well for this build it was a big effort and there is a lot of factors that went into it and although for the last few different things that I built I didn`t shoot any build video for them ( as this channel is brand new ) I did at least take pictures of the processes as I went along that also included a few innovative ideas along the way too. So then I can at least make some short build videos for them with explanations using mainly pictures and I will have a section on the channel for those later too . For now I will just say that I am using pre made melamine panel kits as a start which I then modify with extra holes for more buttons and speakers etc and that I am using gaming PC grade parts and that to attach extra peripherals like a steering wheels, big track ball, Flightstick etc I have a concept called a `peripheral board` which is covered in velcro and is a similar idea to a Guitar pedal board. The board folds down and is also easily removable from the machine if required. Lastly for now I spent several years working on the menu systems in which I used Retro FE/CoinOPs as a basis and modified scripts and added extra `quality of life` functionality too etc. There will be another section later on the channel demoing that stuff too, cheers

I had built the resources and then some at my disposal to do that I just needed to `pull my finger out` eventually and get this channel all setup for it ( about 10 days ago ) but now I`ve done that it`s no problem and yeah I`ll watch anything arcade related too ha ha. Coming up later today or tomorrow will be a gameplay video for the awesome Outrun 2 as well ! ............. one of the best Arcade games ever made IMO.
