Welcome to my channel of local interest! This channel has no theme! It will consist of anything I have a mind to share or create! Basically just a video photo album of things I see and do and videos I have archived since around 1986. From time to time, I might actually get a good idea of something to produce an original video of. The possibilities are endless!!
UPDATE JUNE 2024: After 12 years of having no theme, I may be leaning more toward videos that are music related. I have lots of interesting ideas for music related videos and I will also continue to include occasional dash cam videos and especially filming location videos. thanks to everyone for your continued support of this channel and helping us grow! Please like share and subscribe!

Tammy is long dead, but I was surprised that "Jim" is still alive......God will be calling him home one day, for sure!
Toby is someone that is a icon and such a fan base he will be remembered and his music and videos and pictures will remain.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you toby!! That was cool telling us your story about Christmas !
❤❤❤❤
Proof that everything will be taken in time. No one owns nothing, it's just borrowed for a short time. It's all vanity and only imbecile fools realize it not.
They were both evil criminals hiding behind religion.!!!! They screwed thousands of people out of large amounts of money.!!!! While living the life of luxury.!!!! Karma caught up with Tammy look up the last video of her from Belton Missouri. Jim is still acting like he is a goody two shoes. Anyone sending him money is a gullable FOOL.!!!!
I fingered that condo to the local radio talk show on AM 1290 way back then. Our account for that property was The Magnum in Deerfield Beach then. I used to work for a company called Bug Free Exterminating and we had the Magnum service contract. The Entire facility was what we called a "Key account." Key account means the Pest Cop ntrol Technician has the key to your residence and carries it with him, simpler times. That place is amazing. But when I got to what turned out to be Jim and Tammy Fay's future beachside resort, I was in for a ride. Opening the door, I felt cold from some kind of AC blasting over the door. Then I went in and it was dizzying. I remember this as clear as day. I was dizzy from the mirrors and low light. I learned that the glass on all of the walls, I mean walls and ceilings, was a blue tint. And the corners were cut. Imagine walking into an opulent place with cut glass on the walls and ceiling and al is blue a cut morrows. It is disorienting. The view of the beach was amazing, the bathrooms had gold fixtures. There was not one square inch of carpet, the floors were concrete, bare. Jim and Tammy were caught, red-handed after I made my call to radio. I never thought they were for real, I knew they were fraudsters.. And stumbled on the truth. Later, the Clintons had them prosecuted and sent to prison.
They removed Tammy Fayes makeup and found Jimmy Hoffa
Gorgeous view. Thank you for posting.
As Jim said, you don't expect God to have _junk,_ do you?
my cousin and i went to see the eagles and we were talking and my grandmothers neighbor told us about a new group called alabama ...she said they were gonna make it big....she gave us some tickets and we went to see them in birmingham al..we were some of the first to meet them autograph pics and first to join their fan club...they invited us to a thing they called the june jam.....so i knew their aunt and some distant relatives of mine married all cousins ...so i dont know how close whom is to whom....but we seen them about 5 times during the early years...
Compared to the Sticky Fingers mixes, the Shelly November copies are the Muscle Shoals mixes,to be specific.
Studio is small, but what a hallowed place!
Both recordings on the Hot Rocks Shelly(NY)11/71 pressing were these recordings. The ones on Sticky Fingers and 12/71 Hot Rocks copies are rerecorded mixes.I have a Shelly November pressing. The Wild Horses mix has the piano mixed forward more but both songs are entirely different mixes.
I live in Sheffield, Al. I grew up in the area, but moved to Sheffield because it’s where The Stones recorded. Countless musicians still come here to record or to tour the studio. Robert Plant was here last year. It’s such a holy spot for any musician who grew up around Muscle Shoals. Thanks for posting this video and keeping the history alive.
We visited and took an awesome tour inside that studio last year. It was mind-blowing, to say the least. I recommend it.
That was totally cool..Thanks for posting..!!
You said yeah yeah yeah woo !
Crooks
Love this!!! Awesome video. Kinda simulates the original (that's impossible to find) when they're jamming on the back of a truck. It definitely has a "cruising down the highway" feel to the song & glad you did this.
Nice video! Keep up the good work!!
I remember going there as a kid in the 90s. I remember right after the bombing at the Centennial Olympic Park my mom not wanting me to go to Underground Atlanta with my dad that summer.
You should come visit Michigan if you like exploring old abandoned US highways. There is a section of old US Rte 41 south of Alberta, MI that was bypassed in the 1940s through some hilly country. It starts as a gravel two lane road that tapers down into a two track, where some of the original plank road beams are exposed. They didn't bother removing the old plank road it seems, and just paved over the top of it when it became a designated US numbered highway in the late 1920s. There are a couple of extant concrete bridges at old highway width, even though the road may be now more narrow. Worth checking out if you are ever in the area.
The Emily shop was still there! WOW! And Bell Bottoms.. sad! Birmingham has changed
Miss those days and the 10-15 years prior. Lots of good stuff about Birmingham gone now. Sure, plenty of improvements, but at what cost? 😓
Absolutely a blessing to hear his music and he dedication to the troops his family and of course his fans. Iconic forever remember one the greatest country singers, and his gift of music he gave to the world and the OK kids Korral ❤️ we miss you toby"BigDogDaddy" keith
time stop flying fast its gonna be 2 years old already......
talking about two piles of DOG SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it he's amazing
Used to travel this stretch long ago in a 18 wheeler before the new road was built. Strange to see it now, how growed up it is. Would have made a great drag strip, for race cars, sad that has to be explained now.
Anyone who was a Toby Keith fan. Will miss him. I pray that Jrsus was his Lord and Savior. We only get one chance to make a choice on , to choose Jesus. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life," John 14:6
Wonder how you could even follow the road in another 26 years. They could make post-apocalyptic movies on it now.
It’s bizarre how 2 of their houses burned to the ground. What are the odds.
Do you know what Jim did with the first 50-cent piece that was donated he married it
I was born in 2006 and even now it’s crazy just to see all of the things that have changed just in my lifetime. Madison Square Mall is now Mid City, where the Madison Square 12 was is the Orion Amphitheater. The VBC has a parking garage in the back by the south hall. Propst Arena has a lobby. And the parking garage across the street was demo and renovated, and there is two hotels in that spot now.
Cool story bro
Who cares
I traveled that road many times with my job back in the day going over to Scottsboro, Guntersville and Huntsville. Actually, we are going that way today for a grandson’s wedding but our trip will be on the new road.
I put all the bridge tape ( traffic stripes) on that new bridge by hand holy shit what a job
Old four inch ribbon thermoplastic centerline. We haven't used that spec of road marking here in bama in decades . Very cool
Traveled that section many years ago before the new road was built.
Well, that was pointless...👌🤡
Tennessee river and a mountain man
Not much to see since the Gatlinburg fires in 2016, just an overgrown lot now.
SMH........
They were famous for the air conditioned dog house.
Good place to look for old bottles in the ditches.
"There's nothing to see here !!!" (Officer Barbrady---South Park).
Back during the 1980s, you would see sections like this off the old U.S. Highway 80. Over time, these sections were slowly abandoned as Highway 80 west of Montgomery was upgraded. To those who didn’t know, back in the day, U.S. Highways 80 and 82 were Montgomery’s gateway to the west. Both highways proceeding westbound ended somewhere out in the desert southwest like Arizona, and New Mexico.
That’s right, you can still take 82 pretty far out west through Tx and 84 (same as what runs through Silas butler and Purdue hill) it and 82 were my favorites traveling west, minimal traffic and beautiful scenery especially Nocona Tx and Purdue hill AL
@@RufusTBiscuits Back in October of 1995, I moved from Montgomery to Amarillo, Texas. I took U.S. Highway 82 from Montgomery all the way to the the Mississippi state line. I continued across Mississippi and into Arkansas. At the moment I was crossing that state line, I had my car radio on AM news. OJ Simpson was found not guilty that day. After I entered Arkansas on 82, I diverted in Lake Village and proceeded towards Little Rock, where I took I-40 west toward Amarillo. Years later, when I moved to Lubbock, I discovered the same Highway 82 went through that city, and eventually deadended in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I’d rather take the scenic view of the old U.S. Highways system than the interstate. I knew that highway went through Paris, Texas as well.
I have some spare money, how much?
