The annual 4th of July Patriotic Dog Parade at my parent's retirement community, Presbyterian Village North in Dallas, TX. I've been filming these parades since 2014, except for a weather cancellation in 2016 and Covid in 2020. Check out the playlist of past parades. Link at the end of this video.

A little Christmas Eve excitement driving to Dallas to visit the folks. Almost hit a deer in broad daylight on I-30 westbound, just west of Malvern, AR. My dash cam clock was still set on daylight savings time, so it was actually 10:20am. Pardon my French as I brake and veer on to the shoulder.

I spent time in Little Cayman as a business owner living in the Brac running cargo between Little Cayman and the Brac. My time running the bouge between those two mountain tops in the sea, fill me with wonderful memories. Your music tribute brings great joy and a smile to my face for the people and adventures I had in those two wonderful islands. Thank you for the beautiful music to a beautiful place David.

What kind of filter were you using on your camera? Looks so clear.
Thanks Jared. I used a GoPro 5 with a red lens cover and 1200 lumen Sola video light. I recorded in 4K so I was able to crop up to 4x and still get a final 1080p edited video.
@@FreethinkerDave Thanks. I just bought a couple of red filters. Any suggestions as to which brand is best? Or are the all the same? I think I am going to look for a light.

Thanks Dave, first class and the music was superb molto bene! I am contemplating a trip in November and have one question. Since all dives will be done by boat what was the policy in regard to bottom time?
Thanks Jerry. They always asked us to limit our times to 50 or 60 minutes depending on the depth.

Went there in 1989. I can see it better through your high def camera than my foggy dive mask. I had a Nikon Nikonos II with Ikelite strobe for underwater still shots. A lot of money and effort for very minimal results compared to today. Anyway, I am glad to see that it still looks like paradise underwater. The only place I have been where the groupers are like pets.

Wow, really nice footage! What camera and filters did you use?
Thanks! I used a GoPro Hero 5 with a red lens filter, and a Sola LED 1,200 lumen video light. I shot it in 4K so I could crop up to 4x and still get a 1080p final video.
What software are you using to edit your videos. Do you remove the red lens when you shoot with the light. I use a hero 5 as well, but dont use any lights.
I use Final Cut Pro X on an iMac. I use my red filter underwater even when using the light. The light makes all the difference, otherwise everything's just a dull blue.
Wow! Great video. I was there the same week! Now I know what that one little thing was hiding in the crevice.... Thanks - great music by the way! Before the trip - I started working on memorizing the words to that song.

U prolly stayed at the stratosphere when u went there and did see it in person, when u see it in person it is magnificent. Can Disney's fountain dance to any type of music? No they can't! Btw the people who work on the fountains only have to change light bulbs they don't have to program the fountain like Disney does so STFU
