Hi Just checking in with my query, can you please provide an answer. Does Surge AI own Data Annotation, should I contact them? Should I contact Edwin Chen? Where else should I send my query in order to get a response since you're completely ignoring my messages? Data Annotation has also ignored my messages regarding my perfectly valid and reasonable query through the DA support email address/ Twitter/Indeed/LinkedIn/Instagram/TH-cam, so how else can I go about getting an answer? The Data Annotation website mentions that DA has been "seen on" Buzzfeed, The Independent, Yahoo news and Apple new, should I be forwarding my query to each of those new agencies in order to try and get an answer from you? Hi, do you know who I can direct my query to about a verification problem that has effectively frozen my account? I've tried sending messages to Data Annotation to the DA support email, and to DA through twitter, Instagram, Indeed, and LinkedIn, but my multiple messages have been ignored. I've worked with DA for nearly a year with no problems til now. The verification issue seems to be a known problem that many workers have encountered, and the complete radio silence from DA is hugely disappointing.

For those trying to sign up, the "coding" test is fairly simple with some research. You should submit it to push the application through, even if that part doesn't get approved. The regular test is what gets you the $20/hr tasks.

It does look like a scam. Their website is very basic. You are unable to reply to recruiters in LinkedIn. They pay LinkedIn to send multiple recruitment messages if the job is too good to be true why would they be desperately looking for people? The Official LinkedIn website does not have any posts and the comments are limited so that previous scammed people can't beware anyone else.

How would you know if you failed the test? I took the test months ago they said sorry there is not work for available now. I guess I failed.

@Dataannotationtech962 My tests disappeared. I've attempted to email on the platform. But I don't have a contact name to put in the "To" insert field. I've typed manager, supervisor, lead, etc. Nothing populates. I've contacted their (Data Annotation Tech) SM accounts on X, FB, & IG. But no response. Is there a way that you can help please? I recently did an initial assessment which had a lot of coding questions. I just want to know that will I be notified if I was not able to make it? Right now it is just showing “ Thanks for taking assessment!”

i did the assessment like 4 months ago and it still says "under review". made a second account and now I didn't even get any assessment to take. tried to contact support but they ignore me. it's like i am black listed or something 😭

Ok glad to hear someone say they’ve been waiting 3weeks because a lot of the other videos are saying they got approved less than a week. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks and haven’t heard back yet. Hopefully mine will be approved by the 3rd week as well! Thanks for the information

As someone else said, defo not a scam just almost impossible to get into. I'm almost annoyed about how much i put into the assessment as i dont think i have a chance at all and they dont even let you know. I just log on and get the same silly thank you for your assessment message every day. Anyway thanks for the upload.

Not a scam just hard to get into. Even if you put in lots of effort you can still fail.

I am a Senior professional in the medical technology field FYI. Thank you in advance.

I got the message "If we have need of your particular skills, or we have additional assessments for you to identify further skills, you’ll be notified via email. Otherwise we thank you for your time." Does that mean I failed the assessment?
