Collection of images shot with the Kodak DC5000. A digital point and shoot from 2000
Interesting project, very eerie results.
Thanks, had fun, looks like we might be doing another project soon, may be 120 film stills...
Creepy and lovely! :D
beautiful project, thanks for sharing !
It was fun and thank you!
The fact that this film was manufactured so long ago, has been long expired, and yet it is still able to reproduce an image organically is fascinating to me. While it is grainy (personally I like the look of film grain so I take that as a win), it still has considerable detail. Did you boost the contrast in post? Great post!
I did loose some resolution due to an issue editing and re-uploading, Did not tweak any contrast. Straight out of the camera, Thanks for watching!
I worked on this product nearly 30 years ago. Kodak just didn't know how to market it at the time.
Maximum F7.6! 😁
Yo aún tengo uno y nuevo
Wish I still had mine! :( Thanks for sharing!
I picked it up as a novelty buy, at the time there was new old stock, so I knew a bit about the camera, but was more curious than thinking it was going to be useful.
@@thissidetowardscreen4553 I liked some of the features it had, mp3 player, camera, video cam, but the quality of the video and pics was horrible lol. I ended up selling it to someone that was looking for one. The screen for hard to see sometimes as well. I may grab another one just to say I have one hah.
Good video :)
Hey! Could you do a guide on how to load and rewind the film for developing for this particular camera? Love your shots
This is a really cool selection of images!! You have a reaaly great eye for Street Photography! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your encouragement! I had a fun time walking around Boston!
This was a great selection! Very beautiful and relaxing scenes here! The countryside can be so inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Had a great time and managed to get some shots even though the weather was not the best!
@@thissidetowardscreen4553 you did! well, sometimes bad weather = great photos ☺️👌

Thank you, never tried this camera out before, did a wonderful job!
@@thissidetowardscreen4553 it really did!
Not sure what it is, but all these photos have a certain aesthetic, I really love it! Fantastic job and thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing more videos from you!
Thanks, Took a commuter rail in early summer weekday morning. Walked around town, Had a fun time. Got really hot and my camera bag was getting heavy. Over packed with 3 cameras and lens, but ended up using one camera with one lens. Oh well. Thanks for commenting and watching!

You got some great shots there TSTS - nice look around Boston.
Thanks, I had a great time and will be doing it again!
Nice photos man!
Some nice colours there man 🙏 that first shot got me craving a coffee 😍
Nice video! I like the photo at 1:04 the most!
Thanks!
What camera did you end up using the most
Nearly all the photos are done on the Pentax Q using the standard prime, some are my phone ( ultra wide angle views)
lmao at the "bugs, sweat & beers" on the back of that boat
Catching up on some old vids I never saw, love the shot of the arches/ doorways at 1:42

Wow thanks for sharing all the information and history on this camera and I enjoyed this video a lot!!
Thank you. I like using the camera, have a few more film cameras I will be doing in the future!
3$ 🤯 that's such a great find! sadly here in England we don’t have Thrift shops :( just small "Charity Shops" and they have clocked on to the vintage market so upped the prices massively! anyway great video! keep it up :)
Thanks! I have several friends in the UK and we talk about the differences in availability of cameras in the charity/thrift shops. I slowed a bit on buying cameras, I have to start using them now. I collect both film and digicams. Thanks for your support and encouraging words.
Nice vid Jeff! Love that first lake photo and all the grain, almost looks like a watercolor painting
Thanks! Never know what to expect with film and a vintage camera. I think I enjoy the point and shoots the best.
Looks like a handy little point and shoot for $3. You got some good shots.
Thank you! Yeah it was a nice find and worked well, took me several times to load the film proper, but once I got that done it was a breeze.
Hey man! Great review 👏 this looks to be one of the first reviews you've done like this before 💪 great work and nice images 👍 look forward to what you do next
Thank you so much! My intentions on this channel is just to try things related to photography and video. A mixed bag of concepts. It was really nice to just get away and shoot some pictures with a simple camera! I have a interesting collection of film and digital cameras that I collected over the past 3 years or so, Now I am taking the time to use them! :)
Beach-tastic!
Beautiful photos! Looks like a great weekend getaway.
Thank you! It was a very nice weekend, though the weather was sketchy at times, made me have to be aware and grab my camera at idea lighting conditions!
very relaxing video all photos capture it like it froze in time
Thank you for your continued support! Had a great time in New Hampshire and looking forward to the film when it returns from the lab.

Thank you! I did have a good time with family, a time to unplug and do some photography! I am sending my roll of film to the dev today!
Great video! Haven't been back to New Hampshire since the summer of 2020, but it's always a blast exploring and taking pictures there!
Thank you! Blessed living only a few hours drive from the mountains. Never enough time to photograph everything in New Hampshire. I had a great time with family and trying to relax!
I love this relaxing video!
