Hi there from Scotland I have a 2017 XP1000 Ranger diesel EU which I have had for 4 years. Some of the problems I have had, Electric Power Steering will not work if the battery power is below 10.9v. Wiring voltage drop over night and the main wiring loom rubs of engine mounting which has caused fuses to blow. Sorted by taking the loom apart checking all the wires re-taping them with loom tape and fitting rubber between the loom and the sub frame. Have a battery kill switch fitted also.100 hour service interval on mine. It has ADC which works well on steep hills.The diesel here in the UK has 10% bio fuel in it which has caused major problems with bacterial growth in fuel tanks, if stored for a long time. That leads to choked filters in a short period. When I first got mine at 3 year old the tank was contaminated. After treatment to the tank and cleaning it out 4 or 5 times I get 100 hours out of the fuel filters in stead of 10.There is a filter at the end of the fuel pick up in the tank which also need cleaned. The pipe form the radiator expansion tank to the radiator choked and caused over heating of the engine. It has had both rear drive shafts replaced as the cv joints failed. Had one broken rear spring which I welded back together and works fine. When you put it in all wheel drive you can only go in a straight line. You can get some parts from Aliexpress in China but might not be up to OEM parts standards. Yes they are very good vehicles and I use mine most days. The biggest problem with Polaris is the cost of the spare parts. Don't know what they cost new where you are but your looking around £30,000 hear in UK, The new electric one is even more expensive. They can be road legal here in UK and mine is, if fitted with a road kit. Classed as a agricultural vehicle same as a tractor here. Would I buy another one? Might look at Can-am drive system first (Can-am is owned by Polaris) but would get another 3 year old if I could find one. There are some videos of it on my TH-cam Channel. M😀

I traded my junk Polaris in terrible machine so bought Kawasaki mule omg awesome machine !!! I will never own Polaris again a tell others stay away !!

I was stuck on choosing the Ranger but after seeing several videos I'm leaning towards the Mule. A lot of videos claiming lifelong Polaris owners complaining about rangers being 12-to-18-month vehicles before many, many things breaking down , steering linkage cv joints , bearings , etc,,.and Polaris weaseling out of warranties. they all have their weaknesses but compared to older models ranger is really taking short cuts in durability of parts.

Mobil 1 synthetic atf works in the front 4wd . Rear transmission uses 5W50 synthetic

You can cross reference the oil and filters and pay less 😮

I use my Polaris ranger 1000 on my farm in south Texas let me say this it’s a total game changer when you have to get work done very efficient smooth ride you just need to keep up on your maintenance like anything else if you don’t service your machine bottom line you will have issues

how do you re-set dash clock? Tried holding left/A button down.. Time doesn't "FLASH"! Tried holding both, nothing. Tried holding Right/B, nothing. These are only buttons.. Anyone got any Ideas?

If you are planning to use it on a larger property and have to travel at high speed for a few kilometres don't touch either as the drive belt can't handle the heat and delaminate. Kawasaki were really good and always replaced it free of charge but it is still an inconvenience.

Just for anyone watching this video I've owned a new Kawasaki mule MX it was nothing but issues a lot of fuel pump issues in many other issues . So I traded it for a new Kawasaki mule pro FXR a 2023 model owned it for 11 months driving home one day with it transmission started making a lot of noise I've only put 140 hours on it 1260 mi I mostly use it for spraying and hauling stuff I don't trail ride and I don't mud run with them Kawasaki mules are absolutely junk I traded the Kawasaki mule FXR for a can am defender I hope it will be a good machine and also heard a lot of good things about Polaris as well

Toyota Tacoma 4x4 4-door TRD Off Road $35,000 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 $35,000 I can drive a Tacoma down the road at highway speeds for 350 miles and it comes with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty I don't see anything in this promotional video that the Tacoma can't do. Someone needs to explain to me why this little joke of a vehicle cost the same as a Tacoma. And please send me the names and addresses of the people who buy the Polaris, I want to sell them stock in the Golden Gate Bridge.

Would be nice if the US version had that blinker/head light switch and the corresponding headlight/taillight assembly’s with turn indicators to go with it

I have the Trail S Ultimate and I love it. A set of fender flares is a must with the tires sticking out there. I have the Mud Busters flares and they work like a charm.
