Swiss Tech Kraftig Knife Review
มุมมอง 5K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is my review of a new bushcraft knife made by swiss tech exclusively for Walmart. D2 steel, full tang, 3/16 thick heavy duty knife. hammer tang, tactile coating for corrosion resistance. Just love this blade. perfectly contoured handle. $39.99 cant beat that price for a knife this feature rich and high quality.

Welcome to my channel. were I will be teaching outdoor skills for the beginner to the advanced outdoorsman for survival, bushcraft, camping and cooking.
That's Light.
Your bowl drill skill is impressive.
Thank you. I got my first coal when i was 14. 40 years ago. Iv'e had a lot of time to perfect it. 😅 i have a bow drill tutorial on my old channel if your interested. " Razorsharp170 " i plan to put one on here but life got in the way.hopeing to get more content up in a few weeks.
I Got NO Paracord Lanyard With Mine & It Would NOT Lock In The Plastic Sheath, So I Took It Back & Got A Refund...
It's Means "LIGHT" In German...
Definitely not a chopper though. You'll need something a lot bigger than that
Its actually heavy enough for light chopping duties. Such as limbing branches and cutting up sticks for tripods and other camp gadgets. Same as any other 3/16 full tang knife with a 5 or 6 inch blade. I prefer a hatchet or hawk for chopping but in a pinch the Kraftig will still get the job done. But its definatly not a one tool option.
what is that little sharpener?
Worksharp field sharpener. Best compact sharpener i have gound so far.
I bought two. I have been using it as an appendix EDC, as does my wife. I transfer it from my day pants to my pajamas pants, and I sometimes fall asleep with it.
Ive just been tossing it in my pants povket lately. Im going to find a pocket clip for it sometime. Its so light small i forget its there.
@Dadbodbushcraft I readjusted the clip for a scout carry. I really like carrying it like that. I forgot it is there.
I have used D2 tool steel in a lot of projects that I've machined over the years and I have to admit that the quality of the final product is far superior to any other metal, as far as holding an edge and impact resistance, because of its cobalt content.
Esee izuoa knock off?
I actually have both. Although similiar drop point blades. The handle contours are different. Its about 25% smaller. And better steal. And way better price. I like them both. I think the izula slightly larger handle would be less fatiguing if you were useing it constantly for hard chores but the edge retention on the D2 just way outperforms 1095. But 1095 is easyer to resharpen if you dont have a small Dimond hone with you and had to use a rock.

Looks kind of like an ESEE 4. Wonder if the bow divot would wear through?
what's the knife in the intro if you don't mind me asking
Its the lionsteel T5. An awesome blade. But pricy. About $160. Ill do a review on it soon
@Gidionstactical has an excellent review on it.

@@BCJerbs oops. I commented with my old channel. But its me. Lol
Thanks for the opportunity! Good luck everyone.
Straight forward, honest, upfront with useful information on realistic products
i think the proud liners are an aesthetic choice the contrast the scales but they could have rounded over or even chamfered the edges and still have left it peeking out. maybe they left it "sharp" just as a cost cutting measure. thanks for the review by the way
Great dude... All the best 🤝
Jon, you always have great content and a sensible way that you express it. I need to watch more of your content though.
I like that everything is in Lamens terms. And you make it light and not so serious while providing great info
Now I’m hungryyyyy
The content is great! Would love to see some of your camping gear recommendations!
Wich style? Car camping, backpacking. Bushcraft and primative survival camping. Holiday inn😆

I am just here for the eye candy...
😂
I like that you don't either talk down to the viewers or dumb it down. Always excellent content John!
Your doing great brother keep it up
Commenting, what I like is this is realistic bushcraft for everyone! Great work!
Lol great stuff bro!! Just keep that Shrek Dad Bod covered!! 🤣🤮🤣
I suppose family is not allowed to win. LOL The content is good, But look at the camera lens, you look past the camera and it makes me want to look to the left like I'm missing something. LOL
Thank you for the constructive criticism. It really helps.
$35 for wallyworld is too expensive IMO. Should be $20. They make a little $10 little sheath knife that does the same thing. Amazon is loaded with that size $20-25.
In what steel? 7crmov, 420? The worst of the chinese steels. At least the swisstech is a very well done D2 for being Chinese it is far superior to the other crap steels like ozark trail and Camillus use. Well worth 34 dollars to me. If benchmade made this knife it woukd probably be 120$ and be a marginally better steel.
They aren't your typical or traditional "wallyworld knives." They've simply started to implement much higher quality knives into their inventory. Inherently, they cost more. Honestly after owning this knife, I don't know how I got away with it for less than $75
Great job on the video but please cover up those pretty feet Sport
Awesome content so far. I started watching when I did a search for Swiss tech knives and I’ve been watching all your stuff. Keep it up! I hope to see more great content from you in the future.
Great content John !!
Keep up the great work
Awesome stuff! I always thought so, but I'm only commenting for the good stuff. ;) I do love your work.
😄
Much love ❤
Some fire bow demos would be cool or some more of the campfire cooking
Actually that was going to be my next video. 😊

I have yet to see someone bushcraft a canoe out of a tree.😁
