INFO: ya he was my favorite one too, was dismayed to find out recently he had a quadruple bypass and THEN he KEPT SMOKING DOPE after it!! not smart!! and not surprising he passed away soon after that. imagine continuing to intentionally dmg your hrt n lungs after getting the incredible gift of a quad bypass to FIX your previous self induced problems, then continuing to damage yourself! very disappointing... but great guitarist and songwriter.

Steve Priest was very much the joker of the band. He loved to 'ham it up' in front of the camera. He had such character & presence about him, which made him so unmissable, adored & admired. It's just a huge shame, neither him or Sweet, ever really got the recognition they deserved in the UK.
Very good tribute to Steve. While I of course love Bowie, Slade and T-Rex, Sweet will always be my favourite of the Glam Rock Era and its a shame that 3 out of 4 of the original members are gone now 😢 but the music will live on. Also yes Steve was very gorgeous ❤

It's sad that some people age awfully, Steve when living in California,old of course but he aged badly ,just my thoughts, opinion, like a holes we all have them
True, he had aged badly but he also died at the age of 72, so not too old either. I deduce that he had serious health problems that we don't know about. However, the memory remains of a witty, likeable and honest person...honest even about his friend Brian, not to slander him but to tell it like it was: a sick person, who had developed a form of paralysis that made him tremble, fatigued him, gave him difficulty walking and heart problems, aggravated by two and a half years of immoderate consumption of alcohol and smoking. The way she looked at him and hugged him in a 1994 video is wonderful and touching. One of the most moving and sincere things I have ever seen. He cared and worried about Brian, at that time really a fragile person. Now they are together, two good people, two beautiful souls...
Steve was such a cutie. I like the fun he liked to have on stage. He was my favorite! Would have loved to meet him.
Love how captivating he was in all the videos. He had a way of capturing the audience through his eye contact and interaction with the rest of his band mates. Loved him and his music. I miss them all. RIP.
Yes, Steve's eyes had something magnetic about them, they gave him an extra edge, a glance from him was worth a thousand words... whether he was winking at the audience or at Brian himself in a joking, even mocking way, or looking at him, as in the last years of his life, with a profound understanding and a such gentleness, that it left you moved and speechless... They are together for eternity ❤

I love this video from the sweet. It's a new video. I remember this great glam rock song. It gave sweet a new direction for year's ahead untill 1979. I love previous hits too.
LOVE HIM! LOVE THEM! LOVE those pogo sticks! in the EARLY 70's reruns when I was a kid i wanted a pogo stick because the Monkees had them and a unicycle and my mother said no because they were dangerous! And she LOVED the Monkees and would watch with me!
Bowie gets all the mainstream queer attention. But really, we all know where swish camp lives 😇.
If I wasn't interested in The Beatles and instead was interested in the Monkees, I would say my favorite Monkee is Micheal Nesmith. With or without the wool hat makes him look cute and his singing is great. Edit: Plus he did help out Davy and Peter in the episodes; Pilot episode/10th episode and Peter Tork vs. Lucifer *(You know who I mean)* . The only two things I didn't like from Micheal Nesmith was in the pilot/tenth episode of the show was he threw a dart at a Beatles picture and kind of took the "Wanting to prove to everyone he is actually playing his own music" a little too far.
