I do not crochet nor do anything remotely related to knitting, however I subscribed less than a minute in because you are so calming and refreshing to watch. I love to do freeform crochet no need for patterns and it always is a surprise how it comes out I absolutely love books I have loads I have given loads away too but sometimes wish I had kept some of them but someone else will like them they are never wasted your sweater is lovely ❤

I replied but youtube deleted my comment maybe because I mentioned ✝️ I will try again I had a book called tapestry crochet by carol Norton.I saw it on amazon .there are other books too but dont know what they are like . Pinterest has lots of ideas.. Hearts are simple I think you can use simple crosstitch pattern's too.hope this helps.may God bless the work of your hands❤
