2005 Derbi Senda 50 sm 2-stroke motard has been modified with a 250cc engine. The donor bike is a Honda NX250. The whole project took 10 months of hard work but the result is astonishing. The bike holds great, way much better than the NX 250, The frame is so rigid that it can be compared only with larger capacity superbikes!

Starting from 20 meters altitude from sea level (part 1) and finishing at 1150 meters (3500 ft) at vilage of Fteri, this 20km (13 mile) route through the mountains gives excitment and multiple riding orgasms, especially on this super bike wich is the best I have ever ridden so far..

Second part with the Blackbird going pretty fast on the mountain roads. This bike has Delkevic exhaust cans with bafffles on, K&N air filter, power commander 3 programmed for the specific set up of the bike, and 151 rear wheel horsepower on Dynojet 250. It has also been tested on Fuchs dyno and the result was 140 rear wheel horspower.

Yes, of course Johnny's BMW is faster and bigger bike, than Billy's Kawasaki Versys 650 but for the making of the video Bmw had to stay in the back. In the straights the Versys didn't do more than 140 Km/h because there was no point on going faster. In the corners though Versys rules..!!

Once a year Achaia motorcycle club of Greece organises a long distance edurance rally. All kinds of bikes can take part in the event which is held every year during the spring. The distance of each event is aprox. 600-800 kms mostly in country roads which has to be covered in about 12 hours of riding.

Σίγουρα ένα δίχρονο μοτέρ θα μπει πολύ πιο εύκολα και θα ταιριάξει καλύτερα. Τίποτα πάντως δεν έγινε εύκολα και ήθελε προσεχτικό σχεδιασμό, προκειμένου να γίνει σωστά. Το κόστος έχει να κάνει με το πόσο προσωπική δουλειά ρίχνεις. Εγώ πλήρωσα για κινητήρα, ρεζερβουάρ, αμμοβολή και ηλεκτροστατική βαφή. Τα υπόλοιπα έγιναν από εμένα τον ίδιο.

What rear shock are you rocking? Still happy with the Cans?
Its a full adjustable Ohlins shock. Don't own the bike anymore, but yes, the cans were what I was looking for. Also had a pc5 connected and with a custom made map for this setup, I saw 151 rw hp !!

Sick bike build but the brakes.. how are they going to control 250cc?
no problem, many parts of derbi senda's are waaay overspecced, the brakes are more powerful than the honda, same rims as many 125cc bikes etc.
@@LocalAutist still dangerous as fuck with these tiny ass brakes lmao
@@MaikDreijer I dont think you've understood what overspecced means. They're better than the brakes on plenty of 250cc bikes

Thanks. The welder was a friend who was not a pro, and the cuts have been made by me, and I'not a skilled mechanic, just doing it for fun. I guess I will be better by the time. The brakes were still handling ok thats why I didn't bother to change them. Thanks for watching!

Do you have it registered as a 250? Or you run it on 50cc plates, can cops tell the difference is what i really wanna know :)
+saibabax I have it registered as a 50cc. Its insured as 50cc also. The cops haven't stoped me so far, but if they do its kinda hard to tell if this is custom made, because it looks like it came out of factory. If someone is smart enough and he see what excactly has happened I'm gonna be in trouble. I don't use for every day commuter so I'm that worried..
+saibabax Cops haven't stopped so far. It is registered as a 50cc with 50cc plates. Its insured as 50cc. For this displacement there is no MOT test so I don't worry. The only thing it worries me is in case of an accident..

I got the engine from a wrecked NX250.
