During my second playthrough, the Alien was inside the room where you will use the computer. At other times, the Alien will drop down from the vent before you get in the room with the computer. Sometimes it will be at both. But the Alien spawning when you get out of the door is consistent. So, I use Molotovs or Pipe Bombs outside the door before I get in just to see it get pissed. Oh, I also remembered a time when there was a glitch. Half of the Xenomorph's body was showing up on the floor and it killed me. Hopefully, I could replicate it and record it next time.
