My 3rd Marathon. Nice cool start to the morning, but quickly got pretty warm under bright sun. Despite struggling with a cold and chesty cough this weekend, headed out strong. Did well until around mile 22, when incessant coughing. snotting and wheezing finally got the better of me and I had to slow right down .
Disappointed didn't make my target time, but still got a PB (previous PB minus 10 mins). Getting old, but still getting faster so far. All proceeds from this event go towards the recovery effort following the recent flooding disaster in Valencia province.
