Her voice actor's delivery is amazing. And this character is easily one of the most funniest in my playthrough. What a great character, shes my favorite now. Plus, shes incredibly attractive. Wish we got more of her in game.

Im torn between 2 extremes on deciding whether or not to romance Minthara in my next playthru. On the one hand I'm considering playing a buck-arse nekkid Priestess of Elistrae and sacrificing that cold snarky sadistic biatch, right after I squash orin. On the other hand I might do a dark urge solo run and save her as my final remaining companion to be offered up .. and go full slayer form while in mid snu snu. Either way she'd get what's comming to her . . . punnish double entendre intended. 😊

I fully realise it wouldn't make sense lore-wise, but I so wish there was a 'Bhaal's chosen' ending with Minthara at your side too (one can dream, no? :P)... Thank you for the whole video either way (I never knew the 'grove raid' cutscene could go this way) - awesome job.

Please help: Can she be romanced on a good playthrough? I saved her from moonrise, and brought her with to fight Ketheric, and got the dialogue that "should" initiate the romance. However, when I long rested(while still in the cursed shadow lands), nothing happened. Did I do something wrong, or is it just not happening?

I can’t believe minthara misses her homes food, like didn’t you say you lived in fear of being poisoned at dinner,like I’m sure it still happens on the surface but not as frequently as menzoberranzan.

Between Minthara and starting to read the first Drizzt book, istg any Drow who makes it to the surface to survive there is entitled to free therapy. We need a support group for them where they can practice and experience "being nice" in a safe, controlled area. (I'd give the Drow twins so much more gold and take them out for coffee just to hang out, if the game would allow. Having that much sibling loyalty between a sister and brother is extremely rare from what I can tell and them finding somewhere moderately secure where they have some choice in their lives is incredible)

With the right dialogue choices there after the death of Ketheric you gain like 40 approval just right there, several +10s available. Since you recruit her so late its clearly a catch-up mechanic.

I really enjoy the character of Minthara. Her devotion and passion much more than her bloodlust and cruelty.

Awesome vid, the only thing i kinda dislike in her story is her somewhat passive stance with her affecfion. Maybe im being a purist but shes a female drow damn it! She would never be seconded by a male.😅

I just want to see the full scene somewhere without slaughtering the grove, dammit

I oddly found Minthara and Kalacks Romance more satisfying as they oddly complemented eachother. Never found the woman who did the relationship test and because I did not get her until ACT 2 never got the first romance scene nor was she willing to go to the underdark etc. with us as she was determined to obtain objectives. Glad this the video saved me a playthru with this combo as dark urge because I was curios and pondered how it changed the ending. Becaus most endings are obvious for many of the characters I suppose I am a bit curious what would happen with minthara/lazael or karlack/lazael due to them having very set death/baby egg plot lines lol

I prefer to leave her unconscious and save her in Act 2, it's as if she is Fiona and i am Shrek going to save her.

The cool thing is, you could still have this dialogue even if you're not a noble drow, the way you reach the dialogue, that is, it's what's different My bard drow said that he was curious about Minthara's life since he, as an artist, had a very different life than her's The attention to detail in this game is astonishing

if you have Wyll in your group when you raid the grove he'll turn hostile xD when his turn rolls around he'll most likely jump down off the rampart and get himself swarmed by goblins. if karlach is in your party she'll happily help you murder zevlor and the tieflings at the gate but when the fight's over she's like "oh shit i can't do this i'm out bye"

Thanks so much for this. I just finished an evil durge playthrough and was disappointed at the lack of content. It was great finding this video to see what I missed - Minthara is such a great character.

All that prep work to get her and I fuck it up by doing everything except moonrise tower I thought oh ok I’ll do this tomb thing to get the night song then do tower nope everyone is dead Tieflings dead gome guy dead minthara dead i don’t even know if I wanna continue this run it’s still my first playthrough but have I fucked up too much of it

I want to get minthara but I don't want to attack the grove. Do I have to lead her to attack then betray and knock her out or can I knock her out at the goblin camp

Its such an interesting indictment of Lolthian drow society that the Absolute cult was probably a step up, morally, for Minthara and Nere. Sorta like how, without knowing tbe truth, "she" seems like a better goddess to the goblins than Maglubiyet ever was.
