Join me for a spin on my old '59 Bonnie around Altadena and Pasadena to test my new Go Pro chest mount and windslayer wind noise blocker. Pleased with how they both work.

Picked this '67 up a few weeks ago, strangely fitted with an original paint '68 Bonnie tank. Looks and runs great all the same despite pulling away in 2nd! Sorry for the lousy sound.

Never get tired of hearing that ❤
Think I am gonna sell my stuff and spend a few years on one of these. I could get real used to that exhaust note 👌
What a Beauty!
Sounds like a war plane lol
nice :)
Nice, powerful sound!
Ни один советский мотоцикл так не заводится)) Вот это техника, с первого раза и завелся.
What for an wonderfull Bike, what for an "Hammer-Sound"!!!Rule Britannia Britannia rule the Waves................👏💯
That rear fender is just so right-on with the old English bikes we rode in the Sixties. Love the look and love the sound. A real motorcycle.
Brilliant that rather reminiscent of myself rideing across the new forest an comeing across the vintage an classic bike club, they where in the way so I overtook them all I wasn't part of the club, heading out to the cuckoo inn a very twisty undulating road I was only on a 125 four stroke MV from 1954/57 even with a low 65mph no one could keep up. Quite funny really it was however the Road I learnt to ride/ race on. I knew I could never join the club. Cheers
Nice Triumph 650!
just top
i enjoyed a 68 bonnie, but brits just didn't have the capital and management to stay ahead of the japanese. the italians were short on capital too, but ducati and emgee showed what could be done when you weren't afraid to innovate. even bmw found a way to stay afloat. something wrong with british society, i suspect.
I have one of those. Had it since 1974. I told my wife to bury it with me when i die.
Harley's are great, Kawasakis are awesome, Ducatis amazing...but nothing beats a classic British motorcycle. Thanks for sharing. From Reggio Calabria, Italia
You failed to stop at the stop sign. Nice bike tho.
I have a 69, 650 Triumph Tiger, same color. The tank is a orange red from the sun bleaching the paint, fenders the same. I love this bike, all original, never touched. Bike is just the same condition as the one in the video. I live very near you in Pasadena, near the Rose Bowl. Maybe I’ll see you riding around that area some time.
You rolled through every stop sign. Try that in Australia and you'll get a ticket
As cool as......
Exactly what a motorsickle is supposed to be .
Very nice classic Triumph the new ones don't hold a patch to them old classics
I've never heard an old trumpet sound so smooth. It's great to see that it's possible.
The British Invasion they won the war after all
What a gorgeous bike and the sound!
Hideous looking thing.
My first bike was a 1970 Norton Roadster, had it through my college days. Virtually all my riding buddies prefer the Roadster style, but I've always thought Fastback body style is the best of the Norton Commandos. Ahead of their time style wise... now they are timeless. I'm in the process of restoring a Norton Mk3, but a Fasback was what I was looking for until I found this low mile MK3 at the right price. Thanks for sharing the riding video. I have a number of riding videos on my channel of the MG Le Mans I restored over the Winter. I post them mostly for my own viewing... will become precious once I'm too old to ride. Ride on!
Finally someone that's not short shifting the hell out of a twin!
Nice
Beautiful Tiger. Had an Aspen Green 59 Chevy Belair a few years ago~Great car.
Jonnie, reach out to me. I am picking up one of these in a couple weeks.
Ain't it alooker though my favourite of the versions of this
They say (Christian's) that god rides a harley.....but Jesus rides a triumph 😁
A racer having a side stand?
And a kick starter?
I'm guessing, left side shifter 74 or later. Btw very nice bike, nice cracking on the trailing throttle. What pipes?
Rear brake pedal is on the left side!
Bike looks / sounds cool. Only thing I don't like is the kick stand folding forward. If it drops a the wrong time, you could have your rear tire off the ground whereas if it folds back, it'll just drag and get pushed back.
POGO JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks 'Jonnie Green. Greetings from Thailand (not Taiwan!) The Thai kingdom, some call it "Tropical Bikers Paradise". Here is one of the 'Brit Bikes' a modern classic The TRIUMPH Bonneville T100 "Made in THAILAND" th-cam.com/video/k-cEH4Peekg/w-d-xo.html
Love that sound!
would never sell a lyme.hahahaa
The Triumph Bonneville and the Norton Commando closed out the "old era" with more style and character than the modern era has ever been able to muster, imho.
That was very good, but way too short of one of the greatest bike of its day.
2/2022 your video pops up, beautiful bike, my first Norton was a red '69 "S" back in 1970. The "S", the Roadster, the Fastback, I still don't know which one I like the most, the boys that designed them had their shit together...imho
I'd stud it up for the ice too. Nice machine
Perfect pipes. Glad they're not the siamese types.
That side stands a bit of a widow maker on a big bump don’t ya reckon?
Nice one 😊
great video ,I can put you on a few sites that have the original road tests write up from the period all in ptf ,in english ,french ,
That would’ve great, thanks!
What a bike !
Superb!!
A very cool ride. I wonder how many nuts and bolts bounced off the side of the track from all those old bikes! Looks like the BSA's brake stay was hanging loose at 11:56? #loctite p.s. I was changing the rear tube on my TR6R the other day and the left axle nut was missing when I went to take it off!
Beautiful British twin sound. This looks like the Hollywood Hills; Right?
