It amazes me how similar this music is to traditional Australian music.Obviously we have the same Anglo -Celt origins, but the music and timing is similar as well , it is not quite celt and not quite english .
hey jeremy,,thanks for posting the 1st newfoundland button accordion idol show,,,a super time was had by all..there were awesome players from differsent towns throughout newfoundland.....congrats to the winners.
Not wanting to come across negatively, I just want to express if there was a guitar, drum, set of spoons, for sure an Ugly Stick , as well a few singing here and there -- All of the above would surely make for easier & better playing & listening ALL PLAYERS do it they're own way. Don't think you will ever run across two people playing the same way.
No such thing as the First Annual anything. I tis simply the first. It does not become annual until the second such affair.
