My own written song with chord arrangement. including my daughter causing some chaos, tantrums and dancing. 🤣 Just felt like recording a bit and a friend said it turned out quite funny so that's why I shared it here too. 🙂
Star Wars Speederbike drone spin outdoors
มุมมอง 796 ปีที่แล้ว
Bought my first drone and took it for a spin, and figured since I love Stars Wars, what better drone to choose than one of those :) Quite newbie friendly with stability mode, low, medium and high speed mode. It even came with a smartphone holder in the remote 😁
Arma 3 Life day 2

Cruising around with David which helped me getting aquainted with the game and some cotton farming. Also drove around solo afterwards, which led to some repairs by some reckless driving :P, as well as an attempted highway robbery.

Sorry about the video, I tried to record a new version of this song, but my microphone is currently too crappy so I need new gear, but I found this old recording on my harddrive so I'll hope you'll enjoy the audio atleast :) Happy St Paddys day!

The Dubliners - Wheels Of The World Sligo Maid
For anyone wondering the instrumental bits are the tune of St Annes Reel
The Dubliners were the best
Must be hard to concentrate with the crowd clapping out of time
Wow! There are some many bluegrass players i know that will shun you if you play the banjo with a pick. I'm a guitar player but like to play Banjo and get very self-conscious about my technique. Watching this gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to continue making music that I enjoy.
Oh, let grasses grow and the waters flow in a free and easy way, But give me enough of the rare old stuff that's made near Galway Bay, Come gougers all from Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim too, Oh, we'll give them the slip and we'll take a sip Of the rare old Mountain Dew Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Theres a neat little still at the foot of the hill, Where the smoke curls up to the sky, By a whiff and the smell you can plainly tell That there's poitin brewin' nearby. For it fills the air with a perfume rare, And betwixt both me and you, As home we roll, we can take a bowl, Or a bucket of the Mountain Dew Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Now learned men who use the pen, Have written the praises high Of the rare poitin from Ireland green, Distilled from wheat and rye. Put away with your pills, it'll cure all ills, Be ye Pagan, Christian or Jew, So take off your coat and grease your throat With a bucket full of Mountain Dew. Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Oh, let grasses grow and the waters flow in a free and easy way, But give me enough of the rare old stuff that's made near Galway Bay, Come gougers all from Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim too, Oh, we'll give them the slip and we'll take a sip Of the rare old Mountain Dew Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-didle-um, Skiddly idle-um-didle-um-deh!

Oh, let the grasses grow and the waters flow, In a free and easy way. But give me enough of the rare old stuff, That’s made near Galway Bay. Come gougers all from Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim too, And we’ll give ’em a slip and we’ll take a sip, Of the rare old mountain dew. Thiddle i ay di diddle dum thiddle i ay di diddle dum, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum rum a dum dey, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum thiddle i ay di diddle dum, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum rum a dum dey. There’s a neat little still at the foot of the hill, Where the smoke curls up to the sky, By a whiff of the smell you can plainly tell, That there’s poitín, boys, close by. For it fills the air with a perfume rare, And betwixt both me and you, As home we roll, we can drink a bowl, Or a bucketful of mountain dew. Thiddle i ay di diddle dum thiddle i ay di diddle dum, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum rum a dum dey, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum thiddle i ay di diddle dum, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum rum a dum dey, Now that learned man has used the pen, Have written the praises high, Of the rare poitín from Ireland green, Distilled from wheat and rye. Away with yer pills, it’ll cure all ills, Be ye Pagan, Christian or Jew, So take off your coat and grease your throat, With a bucketful of mountain dew. Thiddle i ay di diddle dum thiddle i ay di diddle dum, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum rum a dum dey, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum thiddle i ay di diddle dum, Thiddle i ay di diddle dum rum a dum dey.
Possibly my new fave dubs song, Belter this 🥃
Barney musta thought he was being paid by the note. Bless 'im.
So cute girl and such a nice song 😍
if you're ever asked to explain what it's like to be irish play this
The clapping did my fucking head in...
It was practise, that the active members always handled/supported the sick&passed away members and their families in financial things. Like an active member. And they never had a formal contract as band. Unique and really fantastic!
I love Ronnie Drews singing.
Me playing tin whistle for years in school and thinking it was the worst instrument and then i hear Ciaran play like this!!!!
Oh my...play it agian Tagert! Skipper of thefamed Conaught demandts.
I love this band. Five fabulously talented performers. How amazing it must have been to have seen them live.
No words. Here is a heart.❤
THE MASTER.
I wish I could upvote this more than once...

This is the first time that I have heard the great Dubliners singing this song, it is excellent.
The brilliant Dubliners in the rare Old times
Beautiful the 3 of them. Definetly not forgotten.
Ahh Barney, you’re missed a lot, all of you are missed,
Only just found this, just amazing!!
Love Barney❤❤
fe delisia
Good man Barney - the 'second best' banjo player in The Dubliners RIP
What a player you would have to go a long way to beat this 😊
Bestest banjo solo I've ever heard, I am actually learning the tenor banjo and it is very fun to learn R.I.P Barney McKenna
Don't like modern irish music
This is one serious banjo PLAYER
it worked
Ronnie has a light step there.
Hats off to Messrs Sheahan and Campbell for keeping up with Barney...!
They ought to bottle this!!
Virtuoso, simple as unreal
Awesome! What is the name of the first tune? I know it but have forgotten the name.
Love his voice on this
This man inspired me to start learning the tenor banjo. I am determined to do him justice as I attempt to master this instrument
How are you getting on?

@@theliamofella Going well I’m nowhere near barneys level of course but steadily learning new tunes and starting to perfect them.
I don’t think I’ve read through a comment section before where every comment is basically in agreement with each other (that this man is legend and loved by all and will be missed) Even the trolls wouldn’t dare disrespect this man God bless your eternal soul Barney)
I must admit..dont mid a drop

Brilliant group 👍
