Who takes a vacation with their ex husband?? I would NEVER take a vacation with an ex husband or ex boyfriend. He can have his own time with his kids. Where is John Miller? I would not be comfortable in a relationship with someone if their ex was always around. Normally with divorced couples mom has primary custody. Dad comes over to pick the kids up. He spends x amount of time with the kids. He then drops them back off at mom's house. They go to parent/teacher meetings together and maybe once in a blue moon they may share a lunch or dinner together to talk about issues with the kids. That's how normal, divorced, people deal with co-parenting. Jennifer Garner was coddling Ben and over stepping her bounds when it came to Ben and JLo's marriage. To be honest, their marital problems was none of her business. Even if her intentions were good because she cares about his well-being, Ben is a grown man and is responsible for his choices whether they be good, bad, toxic or whatever. The children are old enough to understand that their father has problems and that their father has to accept the results of his choices. In my opinion, Jennifer keeps rescuing Ben and coddling him because she is still in love with him. She's using Miller to keep Affleck at a safe distance because she's making him work to win her over. She's also hiding behind the kids as an excuse to do this. She wants him back but not until she makes Ben pay for all of the hurt he did to her. I will be SHOCKED if she marries John Miller because if she truly loved Miller, she would not be so focused on Ben but instead be focused on planning her wedding in Paris. If I cared about my ex husband's addiction and wanted to support him to help prevent a relapse, I would talk to him on the phone and set him up with a support group and a therapist and focus on my own life. I would have strong boundaries in check. But hey, that's just me. Any thoughts?
