Pessimism wrapped in a sarcastic dark humour is literally is normal personality. Proper Brit!
I've come for the ARC giveaway, but stayed for this great interview! Love listening to Abercrombie's wit and wisdom!
Loved the interview!
Great chat, I always like to listen to Joe talk, I do wish interviewers would listen to previous interviews and try not to ask too many of the same questions, Joe has the same answer to several of the questions I have now heard 4/5 times.
Great interview!
I really loved Joe's 'The Shattered Sea' YA series. It has his tightest writing, and proved that even working within that genre frame he could tone down the violence and language and still deliver an exiting, dark and intensely emotional tale. I think a lot of fans sleep on those books, but I honestly enjoyed that trilogy more than AGE OF MADNESS.
1:28:10 omg as an Australian I am so up for First Law: Straya edition 😂
So excited for this new book in a new world!
I think Mr. Abercrombie is living that author lifestyle that writers idealize "Hmm, yeah it's going to be like that 😌"
I’ve Joe Abercrombie’s work! I’m here for the give away lol
Great interview!
Great interview. Always fun listening to Joe talk
Much excite
Don’t think he’s mentioned that idea for the next standalone anywhere else has he? Pretty big scoop!
where can I buy this book, where the first law is in one book ?
Great interview!! Love this channel.
20 minutes in and I'm sitting here wondering whether this is an interview for Lord Grimdark himself or for this beige-shirted bloke who couldn't stop yapping over the GOAT
the dude on the left needed to shave his chin. He has one dangling hair that keeps catching the light.
Commenting for the algorithm
Joe Abercrombie trying not to mention pigs of the Victorian age in an interview (impossible challenge)
Thank you so incredibly much- I love hearing directly from authors and more about them & personally! He is such an incredible writer & I can’t wait for the Devils!
Love watching Joe Abercrombie doing an interview. Can't wait to read The Devils!
Great interview. Really excited to read the new book.
Hello guys. Did you ask how he is outlining? And where can j find it?
We didn't ask that specifically, from all our conversations, it seems like he isn't very formal with his process, but we didn't ask him that directly, wish we would have!
Love this! Joe is one of my favorite authors, and your interviews always seem to touch on some of the most interesting aspects of them and their work.
Love this interview !
I can't wait for The Devil's! It's definitely my most anticipated release for this year!
Great interview!
🙌
For how dark and cynical his books can be, Joe is always an hilarious person to listen to. Loved the interview!
Would like more stories about our 2 ladies journeys in Sharp Ends. My fav Abercrombie book.
Excellent interview!! I absolutely can't wait for the new book 🙌
A Joe Abercrombie interview? Say no more
The Devil you say!!!! I’m expecting fun from Joe then!
Wonderful interview❤
IG entry for the ARC, but also Joe Abercrombie!! He's on my must read list for 2025. 🎉
Love a bit of grimdark
Excited to finally read an Abercrombie book this year!
Came for the arc, stayed for the awesome interview 😍
This would be my first book by the author. Some early reviews mention it has more diversity, so that is what I am looking for. Also because it is a bit lighter than his previous works it will help me.
If you want something a bit lighter and 'easier' to read then check out his YA trilogy 'The Shattered Sea'. The first book is called HALF A KING. I highly recommend it as a perfect Joe Abercrombie primer.
So good! Love his writing
Legend 🙏🏻 great interview
Reading joe Abercrombie the blade itself now. Logen ninefingers is a badass and glokta is like a medieval version of dexter.
Great interview. I could listen to Abercrombie talk all day
Gotta start reading his works this year!
I can't wait to read my first Joe Abercrombie book this year
