Targeting 100 subs? Looks like your well past it! Keep it up
Thanks mate. This was recorded a while ago and only just got the opportunity to edit it and upload! Hope you enjoyed it!
It does have ambient air temp you just need a computer and forscan to turn it on as I did on my 2016 xls after ford told me it's not installed on the car lol. Thanks for showing the install and where you ran the cable as I, installing mine today cheers mate
Thanks for the info mate. Yeh I am reading the intake and ambient air now with the ScanGauge. I have replaced my head unit now anyway so I won't be able to see it from factory. Good luck with the install - would be keen to hear how you go!
Great video - thanks mate. I’ve done the same fix on my 2017 Ranger and notice the new rubbers, like yours, have a “channel” between the outer and the bit that interacts with the window. It seems some water goes through the door, in lieu of 100% down the outside panel. Have you had any experience of water leaking in? Cheers
Is it the same for Ranger Raptor year 2020, mate?
Hey mate. Thanks for reaching out! I haven’t noticed any water leaking into the door panel yet - but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out!!
Hey mate , looks good did you get GVM upgrade?
Hey Rick. Nah I didn’t this time. The ranger is pretty good on its weights and not towing something stupidly heavy (for now). Might look at it for the next car or if I change the currently setup ;-)
Love it Shane!
Thanks Mate! Glad you enjoyed this one. Plenty more to come ;-)
thanks mate, got mine today and mine is a winning blue ranger as well. thanks for the video!
That’s awesome mate! Hope you enjoy it. Nothing beats a Blue ranger hey!
Nice video! Is that a custom bobbyhead you got? where you get that from?
Heya thanks for the comment! I wish I could say it was a custom bobblehead but it was a present from a friend that she found which just fits Theo perfectly!!!
I have a 2015 ranger as well. Watched your video and did the part swap. Mine required a bot more muscle to extract. But got them all off and replaced. Thanks and I subscribed.
Awesome work! Glad to hear this kind of feedback. Honestly this is the reason I created the channel - to show and help others with "simple" things. If I can do it - others can too!
And thanks for subscribing to the channel! It goes a long way for me!
Great gear we love ours
100% Been using it for years but finally got my own set haha
Is there any option for in between the weather strips? I’m not sure what they’re called but they’re the horizontal beams in between the weather strips, thanks!
Hmmm thats a good question, I've not had the need to replace that bit yet. I know these also go by "belt mouldings" but I couldn't find anything from a quick search. Might be one for the greater community or a call to Ford and finding out what that part is called
Did you manage to get a transmission temp gauge workiing on the scan gauge?
Hey mate - I think I settled on the X-Gauge for the transmission temp and it seems to be reading OK. Ranger sits around the 100 degree mark when "heavy" or towing, seen it go to 103 uphill when towing as well. Planning on installing a little mod (to be release soon!) aiming to drop those temps for the big trip in a few short weeks!
Hey mate where did you buy your fridge from
Hey Mate. So the fridge is a MyCoolman 75L I think off the top of my head. Ironically during the sale of the camper I asked Stoney creek if it included one and they threw this in for me. Looks like anaconda sell the MyCoolman range (maybe Kogan too!)
Hi, If you can find hooks that fits your chain it is simpler to hang the hooks from a hammerlock attached to your towbar. Most people do this. Cheers Bill
Cheers for the feedback Bill! I took this the other way just in case anyone wanted to borrow the camper so it was nice and easy to hitch / unhitch. Plus then the hooks are rated for the camper and if I get something else a little bigger (caravan / boat / heavy duty trailer) I can match the hooks up accordingly;. Just the way I have run this but great suggestion!
can i ask which ones you bought? I have a 2019 ranger and i have to replace mine
So the ones I got were from catch.com. Link is in the description and also here ;-) www.catch.com.au/product/4pcs-car-door-window-weatherstrip-ab3z2625554f-door-window-sealing-strip-moulding-trim-for-ranger-px2-px3-wildtrak-raptor-xlt-xl-28160335/
Did they seat well? Best way to fix that amount of clear damage is a respray!
I was a bit sceptical about getting them from catch.com.au but can confirm they sit pretty nice. I have pushed them on a little further since the video! And I was afraid a respray would be the option for the bonnet. Think it's worth taking a crack at it myself?
Looks really nice in shark bay
It's absolutely stunning up that way!
That is awesome
Great place to stay this one!
@@Office2Outback awesome
Simples thanks
Absolutely! If I can do it, so can you mate! Absolutely loving this gadget in the car watching the temps and stuff!!!
Love it Shane, great video and very practical as always
Thanks Eric! Greatly appreciated mate!
Hi are hammerlocks dynamic load rated ? I know most are static load rated . But dynamic load rated to be legally used on cars for towing? Thanks for your reply in advance.
Hey Todd, thanks for the question mate. Doing a little research and I can't see anything specific about dynamic load rating but I suppose it would depend on your state / territory / country as to what your local regulations are. Would definitely encourage doing your own research in this space as your local laws / regulations could be different to mine. I've linked in my local Vehicle Safety and Standards policy here for reference: www.transport.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/licensing/lbu_vs_ci_119.pdf
Remember to have your shoes on
Ah mate, good luck getting me to put shoes on!
You won’t have ambient temp if the Ranger doesn’t have a sensor for it , a mate has 2 Rangers I can’t believe how hot the trans gets even just normal driving not towing , do your self a favour and fit a extra trans cooler.
Cheers Mate, funny you should mention this… Watch that space ;-)
Have just purchased one of these for my 2014 BT50. Wondering what main readouts U ended up going with
So I am looking at; ambient temp, coolant temp, trans temp, intake temp, gross horsepower and engine torque on mine for the minute
@@Office2Outback I monitor trans temp 1 and trans temp 2 , engine oil temp and coolant temp and volts on the first screen , I have different things on the other screens but don’t really take much notice of them
@@jackofjrIs this for a ranger also?
Congratulations! What a huge achievement 🎉
Thank you so much!!
I use to install patios years ago. I like the height of this one. Looks awesome and def added value to your house.
Thanks for the feedback mate. Yeh this one is a ripper and am absolutely stoked with it hey!
"bigger than what I thought" 😂
Really enjoyed this one gang! Loved the timelapse and music too
Glad you enjoyed it Eric! It’s been a long time coming mate!
the hook and the second hammerlock link can be replaced by a clevis slip hook
Will go and take a look at that. Thanks for the suggestion ;-)
Love it Shane. This is going to help me for my end of year camping trip.
Glad you enjoyed it mate. Let us know if there is something more specific you are after ;-)
I spy a beauty of a Jag in the garage, Do an episode on detailing and cruising in that beast
Hey Eric. Thanks for watching! It’s funny you should mention this, stay tuned ;-)
Great episode!
Thanks Celyren! Glad you enjoyed it - stay tuned for this weeks episode on Thursday!
Loved the episode guys!!
Cheers Eric! Glad you enjoyed it mate. Stay tuned as there is more to come!!
Awesome camp spot, looks great now that its green 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy 🍺🍺🍺
Thanks Andy - safe to say it was definitely green this time! Lovely little spot and it seems to be growing in popularity!
Might need a set for the Type R.. hmm
Do it!!! Doesn't have to be installed on a 4x4! Would be great for you to see how hot they get on track days!
I just picked up one of these babies in blue! Looks good I can’t wait till it gets delivered. I just found your channel and will be following your adventures!
Awesome! I didnt realise they came in blue or I would have got one to match the Ranger and Camper! Thanks for following - it's great to have you on board!
Anyone watching this , just buy the cheapest one you can find . Seriously they are all the same . My ezytrail has exactly the same kitchen and canvas at least.
It’s a fair point. A lot of the campers do have the exact same slide out kitchen. Not saying this one is special on any way but there are definitely other models you pay a premium for!
Great video man, best yet.
Glad you enjoyed it Tyson!!
Noice sunset with the dolphins.
The sunsets out that way are remarkable! Glad you enjoyed it!
I learnt the hard way aswell now i carry 2 spares , also learnt to carry a small gas soldering iron.
Yeh you're not wrong! Little annoyed the length from factory was a tad long but also should have checked it before we left. This happened about an hour into the trip!
And the irony is I did actually have a spare - but removed it the night before we left with some other stuff "I won't need that". Famous last words....
Also another trick I was told ,when on corrugations if you put a zip tie around both the anderson plugs it stops them pulling apart
Oh you so have to pimp this with alll the fruit
That’s the plan Tyson. Will eventually get the footrest and the cup holder for it ;-)
What's the cost of getting a shower set up for the trailer? Is it possible?
Mate, the Stoney Creek comes with a shower already and a hot water system, more to come on what that looks like in the next lot of trip series videos which I am working on. Also working on a shower setup so stay tuned!!!
That is one epic chair!
It is hey! I am totally jealous I didn't get mine in store as well :-( will just have to wait for it to arrive in the post I suppose!
Get Jim on camera. Man was for born for the big stage of youtube.
Will have to talk nicely to him and see how he feels on the next one. He'll need to put a shirt on though - no one needs to see that....
Did you get one as well Shane??
I did! It’s on its way via the inter webs!
Exciting. Funny on the time lapse error. Happens to us all!
Haha, you're not wrong. Wait till you see some of the upcoming stuff and the bits I am learning (especially with the drone!)
Keep them coming Shane!
Cheers Eric, don't you worry they are still coming through!!!
Great episode Mate 🍺I stayed there for a few nights and loved the place 👍Having a shower and loo was a bonus 👍looking to return come winter time 👍 Cheers Andy 🍺🍺🍺
Who knew a shower and loo could be such luxuries? Can't wait to see your winter return - hope you pack an extra warm blanket!
Kalbarri is the next one?? 😏
I am not giving away any secrets - you'll have to watch for it. All I can say is it is a bit further north of Kalbarri ;-)
Love it bro !
Glad you like it!
