It's barely 25 years old and it is a very modern sleek ball park. So, why are the Diamondbacks unhappy and wants a new stadium, bad enough that they are threatening to move??
I think that Mile High should switch to Pepsi so that they can serve Orange Crush.
I like how the stadium is designed to represent an eagle with the canopies representing the wings of an eagle
My favorite part is the pool
My favorite part is the pool
The games this year on the Blue have been insane. Jeanty is having the Kellen Moore effect
Yeah, it has been very exciting to see. It reminds me of a Boise State game I went to against Oregon State many years ago that was electric.
Explain the illogic of MLB. We must build smaller and smaller stadiums. Thirty thousand capacity in the proposed stadiums in TB and LV. At the same time, rip out seats in perfectly fine stadiums like Cleveland's. Dumb.
Good information overall on the 'new' A's' home for what looks to be 3 years. That said, the sound quality isn't great, in that it is uneven; I'd suggest a Røde or similar external mic when you are in post-production.
Thank you for the input and checking out the channel. I will look into your recommendations
Anyone been there I have
Do you recall more or less how long this tour was? Trying to fit it in my trip schedule lol
It was a self-guided tour with people along the way so you can go at your own pace. I would plan for 30 minutes to an hour.
🚤
Al Davis has gotta be looking down on his son smiling. Mark made a wise move moving the Raiders to a more lucrative market. I’m sure East Bay die hards will disagree on that. But the reality is that the Raider brand became much bigger than the city of Oakland. Oakland used to be a great blue collar city. Yet unlike other blue collar cities like Pittsburgh, Oakland has failed to diversify and adapt to changing economic conditions. Whereas Pittsburgh has seen a bit of a revival by evolving from the steel mills to robotics.
Not easy for Oakland because they have to share the same metropolitan area with San Jose (Silicon Valley) and San Francisco and they have all the money nowadays. A little bit of the "tech bro" wealth is spilling over to Oakland but not enough.
Hopefully you can make it to see L&N Stadium home of the Louisville Cardinals football team one day. Another on campus arena that's newer and more modern than most college stadiums.
Bring some Black performers to this area.. I'm in Stockton..tired of driving to the Bay... Thunder Valley is to dam far..give us a break and accomodate. I'm 70...Thank Kevin for fighting the Maloofs...open up the door
not brickwork - stonework - local stone
I hope the new titans stadium will be this big
Philly is the traditional home of the army navy game. As it nearly equal distance to west point and Annapolis. 140 mi
As a newly minted A's fan (urbex TH-camr so soon to be abandoned stadium of interest, I can almost always support a protest by working class people against a billionare like #SellTheTeam) I'm learning up my history on the team. I see a lot of paralells of the situation today vs what happened to the Kansas City A's in the 60s. I want to see some solidarity between fans the next time the A's play the Royals.
Definitely a bucket list stadium. Can't wait to get there for the home opener this year! Thanks for the video.
I live 18 mins away from Chase Field. I have been there a lot, and I just love it. Probably my favorite part of it, is the pool. Never been there, but as of right now, Chase Field is the only MLB stadium that has one. Also, they dont open it that much either, because the roof has a big issue, and they dont want to open it when fans are inside
I was there!!!
Home stadium!!! Love Allegiant!!! Raider Nation!!!
You should go to the Boise Hawks
I grew up going to games there. It is a fun place to take in a game. I will have to go back so I can get photos and video.
Amazing stadium!
It really is. Hopefully you enjoyed the video
Such a beautiful Stadium! Nice video!
It is very beautiful on a nice summer day. Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video.
Great video, and as a Portlander, I've been to the place a few times. It's a wonderful venue, and nice job giving the guided tour.
Thank you for checking out the video. I am glad you enjoyed the tour.
Very nice ballpark! Nice tour!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the tour. It was a fun ballpark to do a video about.
Let's go mariners
Go M's
I work here, the roof is kept close once it over 95 degrees. When it cooler lile spring and fall the roof is opened as well as the big panels on the north wall. You left out the franchise musuem with the world series trophy on display.
Thank you for the insight. Hopefully you still enjoyed the video. That is awesome that you work there!
@@StadiumsoftheWorld10 very enjoyable video, thanks for showing off my home
Fishstix, the worst owner in professional sports, never re-signs the good players on the team. Anyone good is traded for prospects instead of paying market value to keep them. Winning is not important. Getting a MLB revenue sharing check and keeping payroll as low as possible is important. Fishstix doesn’t have the financing to build a new stadium in Vegas. He’s at least $500 million short and has been searching for mystery investors for over a year and there is zero interest. This is the same crap he pulled in Oakland before he ran away from a Howard Terminal stadium deal. Fishstix does not want to pay to build a stadium anywhere which is why he’s dragging this clown show out in Sac at a minor league park where the team can play for free rent. That’s all you need to know about this ass. He’s a fraud and a joke.
They don't need to replace this stadium. They need to start broadcasting the games locally and quit trying to squeeze every penny from subscribers to cable. That way people can follow the team and care about them.
Absolutely, I'm in complete accord. Their greed has noticeably increased of late. Moreover, they've ceased accepting cash within the stadium. All payments, including those to the hotdog sellers roaming the stands, must now be made exclusively via credit card. It seems as though they're intent on monitoring every single cent we spend.
One of the best stadiums in the mlb
Agreed. A lot of people do not like it, but I think it is a great ballpark
Chicago! Please take us with you via your videos to Wrigley Field! I have never seen a fan video tour of that classic historic ballpark! 🙏🙏🙏
I have done a video of Wrigley field on the channel. You can find it under the MLB playlist on my channel. It was one of the first videos I did and called it a stadium instead of a ballpark which upset some people.
When I was about 10 in 1974, a neighbor invited me to go to an A’s game. I was amazed by it all!!! Never been to a baseball game so it just blew me away. I believe it was the A’s vs Brewers. Then we saw the A’s / Tigers and a double header vs the Yankees with Reggie Jackson playing RF for New York! Some teens were shouting cuss words at him. I’m very upset that Oakland doesn’t care enough about those A’s!! Absolutely devastating that they have to go!!!! 🤬😭
Thank you for the stories. Yeah, it is a sad situation with the team moving
I love the stadium home of the kings from Sacramento I love the stadium so much i love it
It is a nice stadium. The window is a great idea
The proximity to the Sacramento River & downtown Sac & the view of the Sacramento skyline are my favorite part of this ball park
That view in person is incredible.
Glad the Golden 1 Center is the first NBA review for u. My hometown arena.
One of my favorite CFB stadiums in the country. Miss the Chris Petersen Kellen Moore teams
So do I. I think most of Boise misses those teams. What a great era
tear up the natural grass, lay down artificial grass......oh yeah!, wait til the hot summer games there!!, by the way Sac'Fan's, you aint getting Rivercat prices when the A's play there
It is going to be terrible in the summertime. They need to figure something out.
The windows at the entrance can open up so that the delta breeze flows through the arena.
That is a very nice feature of the arena
Nice looking arena. I have only been in Bridgestone Arena here in Nashville, which for its age (1996) is still really nice.
I’ve lived in that area for 36 years. Thank you for the video.
Very nice. Thank you for checking out the channel and video. I enjoy going to games in Anaheim
It’s 2nd team it hosts is the Nebraska Cornhuskers, which always sells out and turns red
Speaking of Nebraska, their stadium is on my bucket list.
My family misses going to Ranger games in this park. It's absolutely beautiful. We've gone to two games in the new stadium, and I don't think we'll be back. With family members on the spectrum, the new stadium is just too loud. I think because it's enclosed the sound is trapped and causes a bad echo. We didn't have this problem in the previous ballpark.
I understand where you’re coming from but at the same time the new one being enclosed / retractable does make sense as I’ve heard the old stadium had brutal heat in the summer as it was open air. I don’t know why it even was that.
Im coming here in August this year. Visiting from Australia. Will be watching D'backs v Phillies with my daughter. Looking for advice on the best place to sit, and areas to avoid.
That is exciting. What part of Australia are you coming from? Most people complain about the upper deck being way to large so you may want to enjoy that. Not a seat, but check out the hot tub in right center field when you are there. Where do you typically like to sit at baseball games?
@@StadiumsoftheWorld10 Coming from Sydney. Not sure if we'll be at the Thursday or Friday game on Aug 8 or 9. Have never been to an MLB game but have been a fan for years. What's more fun - sitting beyond the left field fence, or paying a bit more and sitting closer to 1st or 3rd base?
@@kgallagher76 make sure you check out the world series musuem when you visit, it located under the picnic area.(I work at Chase Field) .
Excellent video! Target field is a very beautiful venue for the Twins and their fans. I love the layout and the view of downtown. I am happy that the Twins went with an open venue. The Metrodome was awful for baseball. Have you done Petco Park in San Diego?
Thank you for checking out the video! I am glad you enjoyed it. Target field is amazing. I have done a video on Petco Park. I have a playlist of MLB ballpark on my channel and you can find it there.
I'd put SD at #2 right after SF
Angels stadium is affordable MLB with easy access and parking.
Yeah, that part is really nice. It was very easy to drive into town and go to.
@@StadiumsoftheWorld10 I grew up a few miles from Angels Stadium and have gone there since it opened. When I was a kid all my parents friends had seasoned tickets and the Angels were let just say not a very good team. We would be offered tickets all the time and as a kid I actually thought they were a minor league team that the MLB teams came into town to beat up on kind of like the Washington Generals and the Harlem Globetrotters. In the late 60’s and early 70’s my favorite team was the Orioles and my Little League glove was a Mark Belanger Rawlings. Then Nolan Ryan arrived and we became competitive and me and my dad and now my adult children are lifelong Angels fans. I went to games #2 and #6 of the 2002 WS and game #6 was the greatest baseball game I ever attended. Also seeing Jerrod Weaver’s No No with my young son was a huge highlight.
Ive never been but it looks like such a fun ballpark, and I love being near water. I wanna go someday
It is a great ballpark on a nice day. The fog rolls in during night games and it gets pretty cold.
From 40 thousand to 53 thousand almost 60 soon ....Big 12 pitch ayy
The proposed expansions are exciting to see.
