While visiting Akerne Orchids open door weekend last June, I bought a nice Phalaenopsis gigantea, a spare from their private collection. Two weeks later, after adjusting to my growing conditions, I decided to mount it, although it was in spike. I used a TEAK wood bowl as a base and to make it look more natural.
