I was a student at Banning High School in the late 1970s and had Mr. Locke as my music instructor for my time in Junior High and the first two years of High School. He was a great instructor. Strict yet Funny. Brilliant and not the least bit humble about it. He took what was a small high school music program and turned it into a regional powerhouse. Even after he left we still maintained our pride and continued onto further success. If you read this Mr. Locke, thank you very much for the wonderful time you provided to me and my bandmates.

My graduating class. I wasn't there. Instead, I watched Transformers: Rise of the Beasts at AMC Burbank 16 Theater (its initial release day this last Friday). Followed on with a little ramen feast at Kopan Ramen, across the theater at the Burbank Town Square.
