The realtor only wanted exterior shots. This house actually burned down back in 2018 and someone rebuilt a new house.

They can get cold and the teens and piles of snow, but some winters we only get a little snow. We have all exactly 3 months of all 4 seasons. Not too hot, not too cold, and we're in the cooler mountains so the humidity doesn't seem so bad.

If you want private good healthy living at it's finest then Sparta has it for you

I fly down to the street signs at the 2:00 mark, but if you're not from the area it would be pretty tough otherwise.

Thanks Robert! Just kind of starting out, but plan on much more of the area and the New River. We live in such a beautiful area, I want to share it with everyone. The video, "554 Sally road" shows a bunch of Little River, (which flows into the New River.) If you like trout fishing, Little River is a hatchery supported.

Next year I'll have to catch it before the corn starts browning. Great people there!!

Thanks Natalie!! Wish I could afford it too. The video shows it well, but being there is incredible. Plus the old farmhouse is full of 1800's antiques they are leaving. It only has an outhouse (seriously) but very nice otherwise.

Hi Mindy, my name is Denise. I lived in the old farmhouse as a child in 1975-76. We had to leave many of our belongings there when we left, because my mom was so desperate to move back to Cali, unable to handle living so far from her mom. We were all unhappy because she was unhappy. But that place has my heart forever. My sisters and I loved going on the hikes to the river w my dad, and I sooo miss the sound of the rapids lulling me to sleep at night. We also enjoyed the treck across the pasture to visit the two little old lady sisters who grew up in the farmhouse. They let us live there free of rent and my dad fixed the place up as there was extensive flood damage. I plan on going back someday to stay, if I can convince my husband to retire there, but if not, at least to see the old house again and tour the town.
