Where is the komal gaa.....where is the komal ni..bhimpalashi is not in bilawal thaat...its in kaafi.....not a single touch of bhimpalasi....i am not saying the legend is not aware of this....its intentional...but the captions where it says raag bhimpalasi thats not correct....thats should be crystal and clear as that is the heading of the content for what people are starving to see....

Seen it millions time. But always learning.

Matla is the first sher, the root of this word is tuloo...such as in tuloo e aftab(sunrise) hence it's the first or the opening sher. Makta is the last, the end sher, the root of this word is kata..such as in kata-e taaluq(end of relationship). In the last sher the poets use their name or the literary name also called Takhallus. For isntance in this Ghazal that Jagjit ji is talking about...the Makta is "Ghalib e Khasta ke baghair, kon se kaam bund hain...Royiye zar zar kyoun, kijyey hye hye kya".
