@@scudlauncherr It is far less dense and the map is less vertical in GTA and Just Cause. Density is gonna cost you

@@vegitoblue2187 Less dense yes, less vertical, no. Just cause 3 and 4 is more vertical has more high road on mountain, it has water, land, air traffic, railway, and animal run around. All moving vehicle you see can be shot and destroy from distance, and each vehicle can also react to situation, can bypass other vehicle, turn back the other way, can hit and run and more. All the destruction and weather system add more complexity to the game world. Just see what tornado do to the traffic in just cause 4. Cyberpunk 2077 just make a lot of copy of same thing to move around in fix path does not make the game complex at all.

@@scudlauncherr Both games have separate goals to begin with. Stop comparing them. The lesser density makes a MASIVE difference. Rendering each npc/car takes up memory in the GPU. The AI and movement logic consumes the CPU and RAM. Forests are easier to optimize as you can get away with kitbashing just 3 trees and 2 types of grass and still make things repeat less often by variance of size. Cities and Urban environments are harder to optimize as you cannot get away with doing this in cities as it is easier to see the difference in scale. Mafia Definite Edition is living proof of it. FPS is actually higher in the countryside. Add to the fact that Cyberpunk suffered from crunch culture and mass resignations by international employees, continous interference by investors in production which jeopardized a major part of the production.

@@vegitoblue2187 The video show traffic in cp2077. The comment starter say this is the reason why companies don't make such complex games. Cyberpunk traffic is not complex at all. That is what i focus on. But if u want to talk about tree and grass, guess what, tree and grass in just cause can be destroy with weapon or run down with vehicle. You can to grass or corn field and make a drawing by run them down with vehicle. So in just cause, even grass is not simple.

what showed in this video is not bug, i think it is an oudated technique use to render busy road, which i in my opinion shouldnt be use for new game that boast next gen immersion
